And did he ever even get to that part about 'helmet safety' and that the guy in the photo wasn't wearing one?
Oh, no, yet another topic for the echo factory to pretend that people care about and repeat over and over.
this is a lot more fun than wading in through the chan spam.

That puppet left, dancing, for his violent cause. See how the minions cheer.
We don't know what the big plans are.
You don't second guess the master physician in the middle of surgery. The Trump team is working things, and they have some necessary things that have to happen.
H1B poaches the best people from other countries, to the detriment of those here, for the purposes of cut-rate engineering. It is a boon to the re-billers of the cost-plus industries.
Unite against the tyranny of yourself and divide your flaws into manageable chunks of self improvement.

It must be nice to be so sure that they are holy while they smash faces It must be nice all that yum yum yum gonna get me some come to the scrum and be appluaded by behaving loathsome(ly) This isn't the beginning of this Lot would have something to tell you. Some times the hum of the yum are those on the c__me, behaving really dumb(ly) acting wicked dumb. No one, not even junkies for cause ought to flirt with that street-dancer. Kick up the jams? Kick up your self-indignation and maybe do something could outside of the obvious temptation. violent protestors need awareness. Unaware they accuse you: "J'cuuse, Mr. Petty B Why Gee, it's you . . . you are the reason for all that is wrong in the universe and you must . . . " The play the bully because they say we play the bully? The revolution is in your head. Take it back there and continue in a revolt against your own stupidity of cause. If you do real things that actually help other people everyone who notices will be glad and say "such a blessing, this man, woman, I really don't know" When the street theatre turns to mock revolt on streets that wouild be quite friendly you wonder: "Whats this Berkeley show that they are putting on?" I'd skip that Berkeley show, and tell the funders where you think that they should go. People who fund such 'theatre' aren't the kind who should need fair warning. When prosecutors roll in on the Federal train they have their pencils ready to take any notes that they might need to take. If you fund the things that kill the fun with the fund that you run . . . from your college-boy skim . . . will an audit trail show what a lot of people think that they know but we will not say where we will not go. Up on a high and hallowed hill the mountain lions eat the brains out of all of the their fallacies. No real mountain lions are used in this endevour. No actual brains are eaten, just the really bad ideas like "let's have a riot." It's eaten, and puked out. "This is not food that we can eat." If they are paying for you to play in their play then they say go nuts start in with the 'dance theatre' better take advice from an ex player in that weather-room: you will be hounded by Deputy Duggery shaggy-dew for Justice in the face of any stranger, you'll never know who knows who doesn't know. Who says that tehy know, but really doesn't know, and so on in a rant like a sit com actor does (shout out to the dialog writers) If they are paying you to play then can prosecutors say it's a quid-pro-quo and they can not let it go? If they are paying for you playing? Then what are you all saying? Just a ministrel show? We ought to flood along in the flow? Trumps election was a blow? You thought we ought to know? But there is a kind decorum for the street show puppet forum there friendly shaggy moffetts, eat your bread, enjoy the puppets but please be free with mind and always to be kind we aren't here to hurt but maybe we'll unwind? Festival rules ought to apply. It's ok to have a strong opinion, and do a ribald show about politics but the passers by can not be dragged into the activty to be brutalized as part of the blood lust. And why do we have to explain this to all of you highborn comedic geniuses? This is only the beginning of you waking up and getting over your self importance. It's never ok to suggest that any kind of rioting is OK for any purpose ever. the poet is surprised at his own surity and his imginary foe drug addled midnight text twitt for tat rap star of the imginary liberal Holy weird, someone who can make young people laugh and was given film contracts, a hard working humble lion for his own sense of how the bedrock of the world is layed out, and gee, isn't it all very very funny and I can make you roll with glee. And I don't like our new . . . so I agree with you? or I don't but it's only the start of my heart burst of here is how the world must be to appease the inner sense of me No it isn't. Because everyone else has that same kind of pudding factory inside their own heart and they will liberally make you try it and if you don't like it they might get offended and those fences, once broken, might never get mended. Ah, the brain-fart factory. Writing endless drivil to be read as copy so there isn't ever any dead air and some people can't write a word of text at all and some people can never stop with what they have to say and they create an art blog writing project and they get fearful for just channeling out their stream on thought, I had soemthing to say, I guess I really do not . . . kind of stream of . . . lave hose from Hawaii, which is in the news too. That's more interesting news. Not news about the stage show protest dance show. If anyone is paying to have those kids put on those masks that paymaster must have a very good and honest reason and ought to thus have some purpose for this, because 'inserrection' isn't really a possiblity. Speculation I do speculation Speculation and pretend it is a poem. If I were playing guitar right now I'd probably be thinking about music if I were thinking about music I'd be thinking about genius composers humble in their greatness they don't need wine to make the music start and their mind is always dancing some new and awesome melody If I were playing keyboard right now I'd be thinking about arpeggiation and how if it were a chorus you'd asign each a little piece do it like after he does it like that and when she hit in with the "who ahh who ahh who ahh" part at the thrid 'who', that is when you start and everyone will be in harmony even if someone breaks out some note, off key because it will all blend and every mistake will blend in the end and we can all have a nice street dance not something mean and a mean eyed glance. If I were playing a horn but I don't play horns I'd be thinking of some horn guy I know belting out while he's seeming to be staring right at me cause he can tell that I dig the way he plays and listen to me using the word 'dig', but if you see a jazz-guy saxaphonist in his bliss at that crescendo of modern pop compostion belting out that Gerwish honk, like an old Muscle Wagon pulling a coffin cart honking Gershwin and sending joy of into everyone else's bardo. I'd be playing that horn through him wailing on my guitar jonesing for a sense of joyous coming together without the rankle of discontent politics fearful for a cause and wanting to be there for it and not really understanding that for the things that matter we've always been there with them anyway. But not down with street fight dance party loosers rioting amidst the slender of the welfare for everyone town soiling their own beds, disrespecting tourists.
too many words now not here.

In essence of form? a Buddha statue of that man, doesn't suit him. They dress him in their own hard stone and try to steal his brilliance from the world and to bully in a world of their own hegemony, the divided country behind them as a cleaved stone mountain, a crass attempt to destroy the symbols of the great man's oration. A Buddha statue of that man, doesn't suit him. He is dress in their indignation from their lack of understanding of what he really meant when he meant what he said. And he did mean it. You have to undress him then, and see him as naked and afraid and understand that he was actually a man. not a chess piece monolith. So if you make chess-piece monoliths, and put them in a park, chess pieces are made to be moved. Parks can be used to model the backdrop of videogame levels . . . where the stones and statues can often be rolled or moved somehow to perhaps solve a puzzle. So roll that stone backwards and fill in the gap and make that monolith less loathsome. In essence of form? what does that mean anyway? literary flourish of words blurting in an early morning blog.
Kafka wrote comedy. Orwell was a pessimist. Depends who you ask.
Imagine if they both could have lived and made it to Los Angeles, post war, and been collaborators on writing romantic screwball comedies for Hollywood. If we search IMDB for movies written by Kafka, or by Orwell, will we find one? I kind of doubt it.
The story is that the 'ban' was something thought up by the last administration, and the current one is using it. It makes sense to have a small period while the new vetting methods perfect.
Necessary measures proceed. Some people, without thought, knee-jerk protest against Trump's every breath. They make him into Trumpzilla, he's the strange creature who always fights for the right and the just. But . . .they see him as a villain, which he is not.

from The Japanese kaiju : strange creature kaijin : strange creatures Both Mothra and Godzilla were kaijin.Give us back our egg.The demcracy twins say: "give us back our democracy." the usurpers say: "how dare you usurp our usurpation!" some one shouts: "Liberty does not wear a veil" The giant statue starts lumbering, like a huge Olmec Head chess piece, or giant Gallapagous sculpture, animated, across the scene. Maybe you should not drink the protest kwel-aide "but it tastes so good!" they cry. Gathering together is holy effort. A protest? It is always part that, but the other part? Do you have a point and something to say? If not then shutt it up till you do. And old proverb (I believe it's listed as being Chinese,Those who say do not know. Those who know do not say.I say I don't know, but I do know what I don't say. And I try to say what I might know, but as a form of entertainment, and a way for me to channel out my urges. In that sense a blog, a speculative writing project, like this one, is a conjecture factory of snark and possiblity hopefully to open up the gates that block the water from getting to the thirsty minds, starving for acceptance and affection within the scrum. And the protestor megaphone guy has them all chantting nonsense. But at least it's warm all huddled together in the rain even if they don't know what the cause is. Its a free bus ride. It's a meal. It's some pretty colored drink. Drink up. Hell no, we don't know we are here and we won't go. Jingo sings the jingo dove the road to hell is paved with love Megaphone jones and his false cause indignation makes them all feel so loved. There is nothing heroic in chanting along with an idiot. the false cause chorus is so much fun I'm in love with every one and I don't care what they say I go along for the ride anyway. If it's free it's me I'm who I am not who I be.
Judd should cast our new president in a film remake of Secret Cinema the ubber-famous inndie film. Judd should also cast himself in the film as well as the lead.
It could be really sureal. Donald could say, as his one and only line, and total shout out to a past president " Socket to me", at which point someone would hand him a socket wrench, and he would use it to open up a dam and . . . drain the swamp.
If you are crafting some kind of explanation of events, you tend to craft what some call 'conspiracy theory' and others 'speculative alternative conjecture', or just 'conjecture'. We conjecture but some take that, and through boasting, and the urge for false vallour, they 'run with it' (talk as if they know it's true, when they don't know that.). So the go on with a presentation of fraudulent message. It's fraudulent because it's mostly OK, like it makes sense. But the conclusions didn't happen through deductive reasoning, and the rules of logic didn't get used. The argument may have many flaws, and the person, perhaps at the boasting place, goes on and on with parts that are false. If you tell them, and prove to them, with evidence, the false nature of some of their premises, or the nonsequotor nature of it, you might recieve a curious reaction. A curious reaction?
Some people when confronted with the spuriousness of their arguements, and the falsity of their premises, and the utter delusion of the conclusions, when confronted with the fragality of the authority from which they took their sources, the false nature of the narrative that eminates from some localles, some people will run wtih the false narrative anyway. Is that because of pride? Others, they'll just feel the fool a second or two. "I got fooled again." they might think. And then maybe they will want to hear more of what you have to say. However, the first kind, who runs with it, you might want to change the topic now. Move away from politics.
Since imaginary evil cannot be solved, dare not speak of it much, it's better to realize that it's all of your imagination, and that is all you can ever really say it is, or a 'writing project'. Becuase we can not ever give someone a molded piece of pudding, and then tell them "Here, now, make this your whole world." False-cause false-charity is just like that: a molded piece of something that, while it's pretty and all, it ignores the reality of the world, and the necessary things that people need to replace it with a fable quality narrative about the world that draws cartoon cause people and then animates them in battle. But the authors of such animations often like to see it acted out on the street, and they hope to 'effect change' for the 'betterment' of . . . and you never really get a clear agenda, but just a lot of indignation if you start mentioning facts that they don't want to hear, or disagree with the most deeply rooted false-cause agenda that they worship as a life-cause. They are actually quite sad, after all , aren't they? And thank God that they don't really exist and that no one is really like that. But they are like the square-root of negative one. Even though they are imaginary, the use of the concept helps us to understand the way that things work in the real world. The real world, in this case, referes to the psychology of the fully hypnotized young-mind who is chanting along with the mega-phone guy who is paid to be there.

as an example . . . I have tried to do some introspective things as I come into awareness of my own flaws, and recognize the way I act and correct my self and make a better narrative for myself and for others.
you raise me up from far away when a memory of you lifts me!
Somethings never change nothing need stay the same ah, but on a website the constant change is kind-of the point . . .
change without continuity and tradition is often very hard to manage for those thrust into it. And thus the frame of things gives a place for the change to happen. If you violate that idea then you are coming up with something completely different and maybe no one will want to see your new idea, or use your great, new venue, because it's too far out, and very far away from what they currently care about. It's a nether or a meta and it's merely for a lark? Or does it become the next big thing? As fun as graphics are (CGI) and animation, and making a world to fly around in (like minetest, which is easy when you learn how) ultimately such a meta is a hollow place. It's a distraction during the season of gaming. It allows one to brush up on geometry and math, and architectural design, it gives people training in computer languages, it allows someone to make some graphical ideas, and pass a few hours of time every few days or so . . .
To live within such a realm really isn't possible.

After 40 different versions what can one say about it anymore? It's installed in all my systems, a day earlier. There are a few minor issues, but no show stoppers.
I did some stuff with lvm to resize a root area. That took a very long time. It's on a machine that maybe just should be retired . . .

Ya, I decided to load Fedora Core 38 Beta about a month ago, and this machine kept shutting down . . . I think I finally fixed it. Tomorrow is the big release day for the Fedora Core 38. My production workstation is still running FC37. I don't know if I'll jump right on it right away. . .
my server is still resetting, or maybe I have it fixed. I decided to just remove plasma-desktop, as I don't use it. The journals were giving all kinds of errors with that, and I think that might have been the issue, conflicting with the gdm that I do use. Worst case I'd just go to runlevel 3 but, as I said in another column, I don't really even know if anyone views these pages anyway.
My production box would upgrade but the dnf says it would downgrade grum and associated tools, and that's never a good thing to do. I'm just not going to do it! anyway I'll check tomorrow when the offical release is and probably do it then. If I'm in the mood.
So now I've run every version of Fedora serving this website! that's a long time.
April 17, 2023 8:28 PM ESThere is from a year ago:
It took some time to figure out how to defeat the new screensaver built in, but I was able to. It's the biggest downside to the new Gnome.
I set the keybindings to something I don't use, and then put in a custom keybinding to use the old tool.
There are other minor things that annoy too, like the restoration of a deleted file that I always have to delete again on every FC core upgrade. The file is name camera-shutte.oga. It's in /usr/share/sounds/freedesktop/stereo

At the precipice of coding.
a mountain trail often has a place with a great view and a perilous fall if you wonder just a bit too far to one side of the trail. It's called a precipice. It's not a scary place. It's a safe place that one passes through.
OK, so I've done an update to FC34.
the biggest issue was . . . . drum roll . . .a lock up of gnome.
and if i clicked on the activities button I would need to reload (log out log back in).
I was able to run stuff without that, and thus determined a list of files that might need to be removed. I did as full reinstall of gnome as such:
dnf reinstall gnome
then I did a
dnf list installed |grep fc33
which gave me a list of files to consider uninstalling.
from that I got the following:
first odd issue:
sudo was not at first working! I had to install it! I kept the configuration file so I have my preferences still set up.
dnf install sudo dnf reinstall gnome-* dnf reinstall kde* dnf reinstall NetworkManager* dnf remove gnome-screensaver dnf remove gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-20.04.0-2.fc33.noarch dnf remove xorg-x11-xkb-extras-7.7-33.fc33.x86_64 dnf remove compat-openssl10-1:1.0.2o-11.fc33.x86_64 dnf remove mozjs60-60.9.0-7.fc33.x86_64
there are still some fc33 packages, (I also looked for fc32 packages, anything older that was gnome)
sudo dnf list installed |grep fc33 biber.noarch 2.14-4.fc33 @fedora gamin.x86_64 0.1.10-37.fc33 @fedora libgta.x86_64 1.0.9-5.fc33 @fedora
if removing a package also removed large numbers of other packages, I left it. For each of the few that I did remove, I always would make sure by reading what would happen before agreeing to the transaction.
now the gnome-shell is working and it doesn't lock up. So which of the packages that I removed made the difference? I am not sure.
and so after just a few short hours of install, I've got my system working in away that seems normal.
the new gnome shell moves the icons to the bottom of the screen.
I find gnome-shell to be annoyingly poppy at times. I tend to do things rapidly, and all the popping can be nauseating.
It is helpful to learn how to use dnf. I've found that the reverse history stuff works as long as you haven't made too many changes. It's a dicey, though, to try and go back to an older revision but I did it ONCE. Next time it didn't work out so well. AT that point it was installing dnf and yum from rpms.
and I had success. It's the kind of thing that when you know how to do it . . .
but there was one other trick that I needed and it was a scary way to reset a password and I did discover how to do it. I'm not sharing that one (barely remember) it's like these things exist in a nether, and it's best to . . . let the knowledge fade unless you need it. It's too scary to dwell in that space.
anyway, gnome shell is working. It's not flighty and hanging up. And all it took was to remove the old packages of gnome that might conflict with it. And now I can continue with my review.
