Lighting

For Christmas

I have a strand of old blue bulbs. I used to like to see them in the arborefolla busch. Somehow I still have them. Probably because why donate something that is such a liability for someone who would need a strand of lights to use in decoration? The answer: because you are selfishly donating them pretending it's charity as an act of cleaning, and not really in any spirit of giving, because it's an item that people ought not use unless they understand how expensive they are.

But they sure are pretty. And the incandescence is rather awesome and warm. Oh, yes, these are warm bulbs!

One of my hobbies this year has been DC mobile system electronics. I wanted to do a survey of various products and technoogies and reconnect with my earlier endevours, when I was an audio-head on the cheep, never having the rock-star (very expensive) gear, but learning how to produce the sound anyway with what I had to use. I would haunt Daddy's Junky Music every few weekes, and if I had fifty or 300 extra bucks I'd get a cool piece of rack-mount gear. And I've still got most of what I bought back then.

I remember Joe Perry got a gift of an old guitar from another famous person. Joe is an interesting guy who has a lot to say. So his story is that in a lean time, when he was in a state of insecurity he sold a favorite guitar.

Joe Perry eventually got his old guitar back. Here us a reference from Guitar World:article by Jennifer Bergeron

I'm glad that Joe got his guitar back. He's an important part of our local ecconomy. Aerosmith is proof that many people overcome vexing life problems, and live through them, into a kind of mensch phase. Joe Perry, guitar mensch.

And now here is me being a total cliche: Rock on, Joe!

MERRY
CHRISTMAS!

My moon said to your moon
"reason escapes me
let's not take too long

Your moon said to my moon

Now I'm going to dance over here."
