A false rumor: Will Smith, Elton John, and the Cast of the Goldbergs are coming to the Esplanade wearing Eagles Swetshirts to stick in the face of the Boston Esplanade for dissing Philadelphia

No one has a right to ban Philadelphia from the Boston Esplanade. Not Cool at all, and really not that funny either. And Everything is never funny in Boston.

For those of us with a connection to both cities, we couldn't be happier about the results of this football season. Whatever happens now is just gravy.

The Superbowl is in Minneapollis, so, I don't know why anyone from Philadelphia would even want to go to the Esplanade this time of year anyway. Probably they might make a road trip to Minnesota. I can imagine a road movie with rival bands of different sports fans from rival cities on the road in rediculous vehicles and trying to scam their way into the stadium. I think this has been done so . . .

Ben Franklin started in Boston. And then he moved to Philadelphia and invented America. So, ya. Boston. Philly. Either place is alright by me.

Road Trip Movies

Ya, that whole theme of the road movie and the championship game mad scamble to get rooms and tickets. I think it would be a fun theme to explore, as trite as it might seem, it might result in a rather clean-themed road movie that would give people a positive vibe.

Different people all on some different quest in tareing from point A to point B and saving the day in the meantime. I remember when I first lived in Philadelphia, being on the roof of the dorm and the whole city was in view all around us. It was wicked cool and very very meaningful (I have to shout out to Counting Crows)

The road trip movie is a good concept, and it really could be a series, with a different cast eery week, themed from a different era just to keep the show very interesting. that would include an antique car theme as well and would get very very expensive to produce. So it would have to be a great novel first. But there are not more great novels anymore. So maybe it could be a 4 chan post for a while, and then move over to 8 chan, before being coopted, at times by other more dubious narratives, and a dark-back-story, stated and miss-stated, and over rated. But keeping it human.
