And did he ever even get to that part about 'helmet safety' and that the guy in the photo wasn't wearing one?
Oh, no, yet another topic for the echo factory to pretend that people care about and repeat over and over.
this is a lot more fun than wading in through the chan spam.

As reported on line. I have no details other than what is given elsewhere.
man was a mensche! mensche of a man! If anyone could ever cut through the bullshit like a hot knife through butter it was Charles Krauthammer. He spent his life since his twenties dealing with health issues, from an accident. So he was heroic, even just surviving, but as well, had a dead-nuts-on acuracy concerning issues of public policy, always from a center of kindness . . . So long wise man! May you walk onward into the pastures of Heaven! I can almost see him scoffing at my conjecture. How do you come to know someone you never met to feel so sad when they pass, and you knew it was going to happen? How do you accept that the idea of who you think you know might be in no way the real person, still sadness? Imagine what those who are his family and friends must need our special prayers to night. light up the night with ideas of a better tomorrow. Prayers are the good ideas that will make the future better. Sadness that the world is so unkind at times to snuff out a light like his, and compell us, in the evening, as the light falls to keep on typing when maybe it's better to just be finished.
President Donald endures all kinds of crap from a lot of crap giving . . . . people. But I think he's been winning bigly.
dox not lest thou be doxed. a theif will be forgiven they don't deal well with rats. dox not. Forgiveness is the most important rule. repentence of hardened sinners is the hope for humanity. Jesus bore it all, and yet you keep on sinning, so do I wretch that I am, wish I didn't. Fear the Lord and nothing else will ever scare you again.
I always said that Susan Rice got a bum deal by being sent out to be a liar for the cause of that president and his secret agendas. She didn't deserve to have to parrot out about 5 or 6 times the 'lying points' as crafted by the whitehouse office of novel-writer wanna-bees.
Ben Rhodes, how low did you go? I admit my secret literary crush on him, in the sense that he claimed to have some of the same literary heroes who I used to think were cool too. And I thought it was kind of awesome being a novel writer situated within the oval office. What kind of fiction would this man eventually write? Plus, he's a kind of Manhattan guy whose got a certain and particularity of being Ben, the brother of . . . , but just as cool perhaps, someone real who would be there at the writer's place being the writer guy prowling the mean streets, looking for living, and being himself as himself, and writing about it all day long. So I always loved the idea Ben, even when not knowing anything about him. But later it seemed that he was an owned guy (so it seemed). So now he became an inspiration for some of my writing. I didn't write specifically about him, per sey, but I did put in the story about the secret meeting at the White House, but in parady form at a different center of governance that I called "the paiseley house" (you're spelling it wrong). If you page back to 2013 you can find this, June of 2013). And so I wrote about 'the fester bog', which was a fetid swamp at the center of governance (plugging myself, how tasteless and rude!) And that was the swamp and that was back in 2013 and that was when Michael H made his run. Sad day. Michael Hastings really inspired me. It was 5 years ago this week . . . when he exited the narrative for his final exit. (Milton Moonlight. I saw MH on the street in Burlingtown, Ver. in 2010 (or 2011?) the week his novel was in the news, and he wrote some kind of horror show story about a very powerful general. He was in a suit outside on the street in Burlington, and he noted that I had a highend camera lens, and I was in my photographers mode (that I haven't done lately) and doing shots of the street at night (the city at night. if you page back to that period, you can find the photos, of fiberglass cows, that were on the street, and I posted those photos and you might even find them on this page if you clicked around. I suppose I could post one right here? Or a way-back link to an earlier version of this site?
So there was stuff to be known, and people who knew what it was. And all of us on the outside could just guess as to what is really happening in Washington. And the town, and it's enforcers, seemed to have gotten a bit mean. They seemed to be lead by queens of mean. and people who didn't follow along with the larp that (1) muh gia godess climate change adoltorous covetousness of a false idea . (2) mug woman's write to choose. (3) muh mandated health insurance (4+) all the rest of their 'talking points'
So the story is that Susan may be like a mountain thrush. She went up to the heights, a true believeing revolutionary fully infiltrated within the main frame of governance, and could probalby cash out her retirement eggs quick enough, and have, after the hurricane, gone and bought up large swaths of her Island Commonwealth where he mother made sure to be born, or have her born, so she could always calle to be s sepcial category affirmative action candidate. Excuse me for being crude and giving out all of the talking point stereotypes from the other side of the chain-link fence. Despite my delusions that most marxists are variously horrible, and don't understand the level of the deprativity to which thy have endured, that other, normal (normal?) ok, not normal. that other , non Markists children who aren't put inot a compliance program and forced to be conformist to an ideology that was baked in the oven in the 1870s, and maybe before, and that sacrifices the youth, the flower of their youth, for the 'causes' of world Marxism. It's almost a kind of abomination cult.
I convey all that as almost a kind of fiction. It seems to be what explains the nature of the corrupt causeing being soe forcefully promoted, with hated squads and death threats as par for the course for that crowd, they must be addled for some alternative reason? Don't know the real story about what kind of supply that they really want. It reads almost like the plot line to bad science fiction, particularly one from 1981 by a guy named John Brunner. Spoiler: space aliens bleed the hero out at the end of the novel, all of that to get that that fate, I am sure I would have hated it back in the day. But in some sense it explains what some seem to believe is their fate, having sold their . . . what did they sell?? And they made a deal with a deciever? And they are supposed to get their fix of some taboo drug but the supply is cut off?
Basically not the stoyr I would write, but the story seems as though people deluded (delude, conclude, conjecture?)
And we have people who really believe, by now, that very many officials of this government have been remiss in carrying out their fiduciary and moral duties, and in fact have engaged in collusion to over throw the legitmate result of an election. and don't get them started about detention centers, or about the problems in very many child welfare agencies, and associated contractors.
These are things that people are loath to hear. Adults will have that glazed-eye look about them. some people will head for the whiskey bar.
Justice is not a hard subject for most people to understand. They have a sense of what is right and wrong. The democrats played their hand, that same hand, too many times, too many times. And they seem to 'jacuuse anyone who dare to question their agendas and their narratived, even saying horrible and outragious curses in public, and posting the smack talk on varous chat channels, and photo congregation portals
And Donald has bided his time, operation after operation unreported in the liar media. Donald has been a good leader. Patient and slow to anger.
I've said it here before that some times the crime, the details of a crime are rather the point of a crime for some kinds of horrible crimes, the kind that we don't tell the kiddos about. And in the case of cult crime, the best solution is to not advertise the grusome and culty details of the sickness of their abomination rituals. But if there are actual courts, then there is a need for the public to have knowledge as to the legitimacy of those courts. And if tribunals are suddenly popped upon the public, many of whom have been blissfully blue-pilling for years, they might not understand. And they may need to hear at least some of the details.
The urge to curb any motion towards vilgilantim compells a measured approach. The mob mentality must not arrive. The good people who are vigilatis for the safety of the public, innocent or otherwise, ought not revert to mob justice, and should not and must not form vengence gangs. And thus it is key to 'the plan' that just what is necessary to move the narrative away from the poxed narratives of the psuedo-marxists, and neo-fascists, of the decaying order that is falling away.
The best result is as described in the 37th Psalm. The wicked are gone, and no one is really sure how it occured, they are just not there, look for them and you won't find them.
If we give blood and vengence, that is almost like making the same kind of abomination scarifice that the creeps of the death cults make. So we basically feed the very demons who we seek to topple by brutalizing the worship cult of fools who prattle to that nonsense, and dance to that rythme, and wear their horny mask-head mockups. They are all mockup people, all the way, legacies all of them. Born into it, or adopted without any way out.
And in some sense we are all in it with them, in this modern age. We have to be human or become the reptiles that they seem to be coveting transformation into: anthropomorphism to a degenerate morality not just as an allegory, but actual in real time as part of a sick ritual(?) we can't reall know whithout putting on their same mindset, and we don't want to do that. It's all crap, and that is all we need to know about it.
If there were real ancient alien fallen angel people they probably would be appaulded at the way that they are mocked with these masks and rituals. And if there were anything good that they were trying to do, it all got subverted by the cult of control. The whole concocktion might go back to anttiquity, or maybe just to the Theosopists, or some freak-show morphine addict freemason illumnaughty creepazoids from the late 18th century (1770's-1790's_)
What are we to believe? We believe in rule of law. We believe to respect the president. We don't agree with everything he says and does, but very many re compelled to love him deeply, without any of the stupid cult crap that others try and associated with well lvoed leaders. Why? Because he has so obviously put himself into great personal danger for the just cause of the end of the crap-governance of the last 200 or so years. The system that has been needed to be deconstructured with meticulous care, and there were very many pitfalls in doing it. Trump got on the team. Winning was the only option. the myth of a 'time machine' future proves past, etc, past proves future, (blah blah blah?)
So what is next? Summer is hear today or tomorrow (I don't know the exact time). Will the rialed up democrats calm it down a bit? If Susan starts to sing like a bird, whill they respectfully listen. I had great resepct for her, and could sense how much she must have loathed to be chosen as a talking parrot to spew out Ben's bad fictions. She deserved better. She seemed to me to always have been a true believer, even if a Marxist, and probasbly didn't know how rotton so many of that crowd do become when in charge, with the ultimate power of heads of state. She deserved better. And now maybe she gets some satisfaction by speaking some hard truth to power?
So is this heroic role written for her? Is she the song bird who will sing the sweet songs that people will believe? Will be redeem herself?
As I said, I always respected her. I never thought she had a good, or real, thing to say about how to run the world, because she seems to be an ideolouge. But she seemed an authentic true-believeing marxist, a good person with a real kindness about her, but just born into a fowl moiety and I think that this was perhaps my own perjection, because I certainly have no way of knowing, as I never met her but I have known that type how were of the moiety, and they wanted to be good, and do what was right, but their family had some strange beliefs, and a world-view of the darkness of others so they always had a reason to live within their strange belljar, and emulate the heroes of feminist marxism, sadly, Sylvia who used to hide underneath her porch so that daddy couldn't find her. a very sad story indeed, a novel that was made famous, and later, well, you just want to forget it all if you ever read it. So maybe I just make stuff up and imaigne that Susan was a good person, like Sylvia, or people I knew in college, but that is me just projecting. But what does it tell you about her: she could pull it off. She does seem to be authentic, even in the barbie-dawl form of how she is projected on television, like a superhero of intellectual marxism, ready and ready-set-go college lawyer marxist barbeeque-dawl girl, a true believer, a wonderwoman of the modern left, ready to be a world leader, leading the world out of the cesspool of selfishness into the modern ages of . . . . blah blah blah blah.
So Susan was someone that the public would perhaps feel compelled to believe what she says, until sent out the week after the Benghazi 9/11 horror show of 2012.
Why did she destroy her credibility as a true-believing good-Marxist by being a parrot for liars, and aspiring novel writers (who are much like myself, but choose to fall in love with a bad boss, and be a kind of Male della-Manhattan for the sorta Perry (secrete phree) masonne of the Barry-days? Why did she become their parrot, why, and ruin her street cred? She probably had no choice, she may have been forced to carry that water. She always seemed very angry about it afterwards. or do I just want to see that in her, as a kind of wish craft, to imagine that not all of them, not Ben, not Michael (who went away) were so lost that they couldn't be redeemed in late life, in retrospective, saying 'how could I have got it so wrong? How was I so bigly fooled'?
Ah, what do I know. Nothing. It was almost 6 years ago, already. And she has been out of government for over a year. So I forget. these things tend to fade from our minds. All of those who died that night may not have had to have died. And the ones who didn't send in the force to save them . . . well, maybe we can finally learn the real story of that night, and where was Barry?
Trump has been a great president so far. Anyone who tells you different either is a partisan, or isn't really paying attention to the ongoing anti-corruption efforts, and the war against world wide slavery in all it's many forms.
Saw a story of a border patrol hero in Arizona rescues a boy in the dessert who was abandoned. by a cross border human smuggler. So for all of you who dare to dox and do not heed to dox not, like a certain person who is listed elsewhere as being one who provided a privledged list of possible heroes (like the
Peter Fonda's scandalous statement speaks volumes about exactly why our system of privleged elitist aristocracy needs to be be unfolded, exposed, and forever reformed.
latest reports are that Peter has apologized, realizing that he'd gone over the edge with his imagery, which seemed to be such a violation for very many different reasons. But I guess his sentiment, as horrible as he made it, is that he'd never want that for anyone, so he did that thing where he seems to wish it on someone who he deludes is for it, or doesn't realize that it does happen.
Could Peter have been a victim himself at some point in his life? He was a famous boy when he was a boy. So he has asked for forgiveness, and I hope that they give it to him. As well maybe explain that no one wants children in cages for any reason. Maybe he doesn't understand that Melenia and Donald are hard at work trying to stop that world wide, for all children?
It would be nice is someone who knows his real history would call and explain to him that our president really does want to end all human trafficking. I suppose Fonda would be totally on board with 'the plan' if he even knew about it. So maybe someone has gone and 'splaned some things to him: it's not about politics: it's about Abolition. Sextrade abolition is the thing. So I suppose probably Peter just didn't know and maybe now he knows?
So Peter, hopefully you can get wise. Que into the news, and take your head out of the clouds of the crafted story from the fowl-stream-media, and realize that human equality, and world wide rule of law is the goal, not to be subverted, or to be controlled by a secret aristocracy anymore, but actual human freedom: no more human trafficking!
Should get her job back.

today I said, let's do some edit, take away the old, andmaybe put up new. So I cleared out some of the front page stuff. Listen, you can calways use the paging feature on the columns, that gives you older content, or newer, or just different. I would love to have a more advanced way to catalog all of my inanity, and I even used to edit things here , but I do all that offline now.
So, ya, I just think it makes people weary to hear and rehear the same jist: blah blah blah the system is corrupt, and cooked, blah blah blah blah, and ulitimately that is too down beat to not move back in time, and let it be lost to the past as the world becomes a better place. That is what we all hope, right? I mean some people don't get it right, and they are well viewed, and their ideas are out there in the public view. Others say that sam things and no one reads any of it. Delisting the ones who actually get hits to their content because they don't agreet about politics is a rather discusting new corporate mega-trend. It's the weenies gone mad.
I'm too tapped to write anything without it just being babble so . . . I think I'll do something else for a while. And if there is a hope to make the world a better place then we all ought to have it. And then do those things that make it happen. But someoene jump as soon as they are told to jump, and some take a leap of faith and it doesn't work out for them like they had hoped. Bold action is often met with scoffing, too much insight into a difficult topic? People will hate you for a simple misspelling. If you are an edgey comedianne and you tweet some stuff that people construe a lot different than what you meant it? You show is not just taken off as a new item, but all the reruns are cancelled too. Isn't that a bit much?
We know that it is. So why do I need to keep saying it?

you raise me up from far away when a memory of you lifts me!
Somethings never change nothing need stay the same ah, but on a website the constant change is kind-of the point . . .
change without continuity and tradition is often very hard to manage for those thrust into it. And thus the frame of things gives a place for the change to happen. If you violate that idea then you are coming up with something completely different and maybe no one will want to see your new idea, or use your great, new venue, because it's too far out, and very far away from what they currently care about. It's a nether or a meta and it's merely for a lark? Or does it become the next big thing? As fun as graphics are (CGI) and animation, and making a world to fly around in (like minetest, which is easy when you learn how) ultimately such a meta is a hollow place. It's a distraction during the season of gaming. It allows one to brush up on geometry and math, and architectural design, it gives people training in computer languages, it allows someone to make some graphical ideas, and pass a few hours of time every few days or so . . .
To live within such a realm really isn't possible.

Ya, I decided to load Fedora Core 38 Beta about a month ago, and this machine kept shutting down . . . I think I finally fixed it. Tomorrow is the big release day for the Fedora Core 38. My production workstation is still running FC37. I don't know if I'll jump right on it right away. . .
my server is still resetting, or maybe I have it fixed. I decided to just remove plasma-desktop, as I don't use it. The journals were giving all kinds of errors with that, and I think that might have been the issue, conflicting with the gdm that I do use. Worst case I'd just go to runlevel 3 but, as I said in another column, I don't really even know if anyone views these pages anyway.
My production box would upgrade but the dnf says it would downgrade grum and associated tools, and that's never a good thing to do. I'm just not going to do it! anyway I'll check tomorrow when the offical release is and probably do it then. If I'm in the mood.
So now I've run every version of Fedora serving this website! that's a long time.

It took some time to figure out how to defeat the new screensaver built in, but I was able to. It's the biggest downside to the new Gnome.
I set the keybindings to something I don't use, and then put in a custom keybinding to use the old tool.
There are other minor things that annoy too, like the restoration of a deleted file that I always have to delete again on every FC core upgrade. The file is name camera-shutte.oga. It's in /usr/share/sounds/freedesktop/stereo

At the precipice of coding.
a mountain trail often has a place with a great view and a perilous fall if you wonder just a bit too far to one side of the trail. It's called a precipice. It's not a scary place. It's a safe place that one passes through.
OK, so I've done an update to FC34.
the biggest issue was . . . . drum roll . . .a lock up of gnome.
and if i clicked on the activities button I would need to reload (log out log back in).
I was able to run stuff without that, and thus determined a list of files that might need to be removed. I did as full reinstall of gnome as such:
dnf reinstall gnome
then I did a
dnf list installed |grep fc33
which gave me a list of files to consider uninstalling.
from that I got the following:
first odd issue:
sudo was not at first working! I had to install it! I kept the configuration file so I have my preferences still set up.
dnf install sudo dnf reinstall gnome-* dnf reinstall kde* dnf reinstall NetworkManager* dnf remove gnome-screensaver dnf remove gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-20.04.0-2.fc33.noarch dnf remove xorg-x11-xkb-extras-7.7-33.fc33.x86_64 dnf remove compat-openssl10-1:1.0.2o-11.fc33.x86_64 dnf remove mozjs60-60.9.0-7.fc33.x86_64
there are still some fc33 packages, (I also looked for fc32 packages, anything older that was gnome)
sudo dnf list installed |grep fc33 biber.noarch 2.14-4.fc33 @fedora gamin.x86_64 0.1.10-37.fc33 @fedora libgta.x86_64 1.0.9-5.fc33 @fedora
if removing a package also removed large numbers of other packages, I left it. For each of the few that I did remove, I always would make sure by reading what would happen before agreeing to the transaction.
now the gnome-shell is working and it doesn't lock up. So which of the packages that I removed made the difference? I am not sure.
and so after just a few short hours of install, I've got my system working in away that seems normal.
the new gnome shell moves the icons to the bottom of the screen.
I find gnome-shell to be annoyingly poppy at times. I tend to do things rapidly, and all the popping can be nauseating.
It is helpful to learn how to use dnf. I've found that the reverse history stuff works as long as you haven't made too many changes. It's a dicey, though, to try and go back to an older revision but I did it ONCE. Next time it didn't work out so well. AT that point it was installing dnf and yum from rpms.
and I had success. It's the kind of thing that when you know how to do it . . .
but there was one other trick that I needed and it was a scary way to reset a password and I did discover how to do it. I'm not sharing that one (barely remember) it's like these things exist in a nether, and it's best to . . . let the knowledge fade unless you need it. It's too scary to dwell in that space.
anyway, gnome shell is working. It's not flighty and hanging up. And all it took was to remove the old packages of gnome that might conflict with it. And now I can continue with my review.
