Comments that don't get posted anymore

When I go on-line I read a lot from comments and hardly ever respond. When I do respond I hardly ever post anything. Today I was reading about the way that Washington workers are handling the 'march' tomorrow. It is the 50th aniversary of the speach from the guy who the current crop imagines that they continue his legacy. Meanwhile they are beating war drums. Very sad to imagine that a peace-loving anti-war guy like MLK would be the target of usurpation by forces that want to start yet another war. Ah, the ironies of History. In any case someone was dissing all government workers and here is what I had to say about his comment:

ya, there is a lot wrong about government but it is a slander to say that most government workers don't do anything.

Most things about government are not broken, and do not need to be fixed.

I've seen a lot of very good government people working very hard.

I've heard about Civilians blowing up in a plane while at their jobs.

I worked with a guy who had everyone else in his office blow up on that plane, which is why he was in our division (I was a GS-11 and resigned after 8 years).

So, don't slander the whole world with your delusions about government. We have a lot to do to trim it down and make it better. Slandering all government people doesn't help anyone.

What is my point? We will always have a government. People will always work for some goverment. Those people will have to be judged individually as to how they conduct themselves. We are never going to have Anarchy. If we have periods where it seems like that, they will pass.

Don't be blind to the propaganda war, people. What you read might be tainted. Anything that seems to suggest that all different groups hate all of the other different groups: err on the side of people not be ogres. Err on the side of 'we are all human beings'. Err on the side that ethnicty, nationality, and race are important to recognize when they are important to other people but we should not judge character based upon these shallow categories.

The love message, where ever it's source, the message that reminds you that the primary function of people is to love each other . . . that is the message that we should promote.

Love solves everything. So Simple

  He had a brand new car
       and he used it to bring his kids to school.
   It was the only car that made sense.
    His whole family could fit in it.
 They are tall, he didn't care if it burned too much gas
   They only used it to shuttle between various schools,
         playgrounds, churches,
  houses of friends, relatives,
     maybe a nearby beach
 on a very hot day.
     It cost a lot
  but he gave up some things
      so that he could pay.
