People Disappear

If you 'follow' people by just going to the twitter feed (no one uses Facebook anymore that I can tell, but it still exists seemingly for tracking and spying) you notice that people disappear. And if you watch their videos, you notice that videos get unlisted (blockered). It's horrid.

But if you want to watch a porn from 10 years ago you can find as much porn as you could ever watch for free. If you know how you can always find that. Or if you like to see the naked cast where a chiseled narcissist does it (does what?) (use your imagination) on camera, (they don't usually have someone else with them, of if they do I don't see those). So that's it. You can watch porn. You can watch as much porn as you can handle. And if you don't want to pay for it, it doesn't seem to matter, you can watch it anyway.

But if you want to follow people who talk politics? Or who are saying things about people in the news? Commenting on the world at large? Discussing the Q drops? Talking about how much they support so-and-so cause . . . just do this: which are they left or right? if they are 'left' and they are friends of the left, and the kind who gush about things that real leftists used to find distasteful (to the turn of life, it's all gone back in some retrograde way, the leftists aren't really left. The Conservatives don't conserve, and the ones who want to 'save the children' are saving them in a way that you won't suspect. Like that's too much to go one with). (what about a porn cast that follows politics? Do they block that. I don't want to do an experiment and find out.)

The point: if someone wants to share a podcast why should they need the permission of some vauge and unfaced corporate rule-body, outside of any regulation of the government or sane oversight commission or body. What we get are pepole in control of technology that their banker-wealth-greed-head overlords gave to them. It's clear that these overlord bodies didn't create the technology, and yet they assume gate keeper status when there ought to be no gates as they envision. Their only addition to the tech was to put in knocker-blocker hooks that grab the offending political person and jank them off the stage or forum where the content is listed. So in essence we have a 'listing service' pretending to be in charge of immorality. But if we look at the news we see that what is called 'cuckoldry' became part of corporate governance. Most of that would be secret, correct? So one must assume that the viper-tonque of the cuckold governance got into the ears of those obvious-types who live and act and walk and behave as if they've already undergone somekind of secret intiatory part, and the reveal will be, at the end of the next reel (and before the intermission?) that . . . and I could make something up and it would just betray how I see those corporate trench-coaters (in my mind they are trench coat go-along-with-the-depravity kind, is it rude of me to share my visual impressions). They look like vampiric creepizoids, like they have been genetically altered to be . . . some kind of strange pincher-plant-kind-of-person whose real role is to lure the open and free minded 'user' or 'client' into the fly-trap (fly? user-trap, client-trap) of the product.

in the case of one of those companies, the listing service, one of them? Also selling the houses that they they list? why should I need to be competing against the people who are pretending to be for listing? I want to buy a house or sell a house and I give away my data to somegroup of un kjnown deep pockets (the money from no where people) and then they put themselves iun the chain of buying and selling too? It's a conflict of interest, isn't it?

And so those who buy 18 million dollar water front property in the Summer highest price vanity Island should not be in charge of what I get to read and buy. Why should I need approval of the board of Youtub? why should anyone at the phone company (Giggly is kind of now a more than a phone company, they ought to live under harder and stricter guidelines).

So if I like to look at a twitter page for a particular announcer/videographer in a particular industry (aviation and military defense logistics and acquisition and high end gear for flying and being 'best', then suddenly the page is gone?

The well-known guy's twitter page is gone and I'm like 'where did he go?' This is someone for a major Washington news organization.

Right to be non-blockered

Knocker Blocking pod casts or communications needs to prohibited.

If I want to give a podcast no one at Giggle or Twitfed should have anything to say. Faceschnock should have nothing to do with it, Just run by webcast client, announce the podcast, and people can connect. I mean if it's really an anjelcast, then be anjelic about it and just let me see, it no logging in (I've turned the subject to another 'missing person' who said, and then we expect it that last week, but he didn't and no news. And takes down most of what he used to have up and some of the linked content says 'you need to log in for permission to see the dude reviewing Trumps inauguration'. OK. I didn't a month ago? It's just the same I suppose the guy wants to take it down but hten he went missing too. I'll see if he does it tonight , he put up an ad. And since I don't log in I can't 'comment' on his live-cast and he won't look here (if he did I'd freak, he shows my page I freak). (note about a half hour after his previously announced time for the beginning of his cast he sent a message through the 'community' part of that page to say that it would happen some day in the future, but not tonight.).

It's just ridiculous that arbitrary corporate discriminatory practices can take down a long running pod cast, and for whatever reason the guy wants to say anything, stupid or 'transitional' (get the joke?) no corporate knocker-blocker should be able to block someone's legal content. The Internet is America's Common now and if we want to meet there, even if the property is claimed as belonging to Giggle or some other corporate fudge-fest, they should have no way to say "no you cant use our service to podcast this" because it would be like the phone company (of 30 years ago) saying "if you are such-and-such political persuasion you can't use our phone lines for political canvassing."

So I'll look for the podcast tonight. And if it doesn't show up I'll wonder " what the fudge is going on now. And if I don't get to hear the rambling confab of friends which that cast is, then I'll tough through it." Oh ya. (see note above. The podcast did not get broadcast last night) (as previously noted the podcast did not happen.)

Hurricane

Well, it would be an act of great classy courage if the President toughed it out at Mara Logo if the hurricane that is shown as tracking that way acktuallly hits S. Florida.

When you are president, I suppose, you get out of dodge when the huricane hits? Not so with President George W Bush whose house was destroyed by a hurricane (was it Hurricane Bob?) on the coast of Maine, the night (the night) they drove old-soviet down . . . (and all the people were singing? na na nahh naahhna naa naa naaa?) No, we were trying to hunker down. It was a very very bad storm. As I said, the presidents (was he still at that time?) home was destroyed that very day (an ominous omen!)

The Wikipedia sometimes has some useful information, Hurricane Bob article in which they note that President Bush was at Kennibunkport, but not that his home there was destroyed. I don't have a reference to that except for my memory.

Anyway, if President Trump does decide to go to Florida to be there for a major event, it might be better if he were sequestored away from the shore. But he does what he needs to do. May he stay and be safe!

When you think that they should have but they didn't

The famecast didn't happen last night and that's too bad but . . . you hear about people being arrested for 'threats' and you wonder about things being regressive now. Stupid beautiful fame fag doesn't give his anjelic performance. Last Friday night (9 days ago now) he did it and they were up all night almost (east coast time) and he was yawning but I was busy doing ? ? ? I want to say ? ? ? refrigertor cleaning and listening to Anjel and Adrian and Jani and so that was a week ago Friday? Ah, I don't remember. I just don't I may have rewatched another one? The night I fixed the toilet. And it's free! I

So I read in the Union Leader that there was a boy-man (a 20 year old with wierd things with nose jewlery and other tells of being young and exploritory in his progression into adult hood and he posted a face pic with a weapon? Not sure but said something like 'Don't go to school today' or equivalent very very (and you uinderstand this is satire) teenage angst (but he was listed as being 20) . so he had a hard time being the same as other 20 year olds? YOu expect more from him? Lose the nose ring? Who gives a flux "lose the nose ring!" what business is it of ours to tell the young man to not adorn himself as he so desires. I could devolve off into another counter narrative about infection, and health, and I'd be spot on from the perspective of a 55 year old, but from the point of view of a young and dsirable man, he does what he does to be who he expects himself to be. Sometimes young men do things to drive away the unwanted attention of preditory askhoulles who love men like this kid looks, tall and blond and naturally muscular with that jaw and face that is almost a red head but more of a blond, depends on the sun, a boy, still, just a boy, and saying 'Don't go to school today'. He's a little old to still be in highschool? maybe he's talking about jounior college and he's not sure? He's the kind of kid that even with the nose ring you say 'God blessed him in the look department' and a guy is smart enough to know that is what it is he's going to ward off the affection by putting up a wall of wierd to drive away the type who are only looking for someone who reminds them of somethting they see too much of on television. It's not his fault he was blessed with that kind of personality that he there and ready to be able and willing to be better. And all anyone sees is those smokey grey eyes and that curl of his face where the very deep dimples are and how does someoen get such a chisled and dimpled way? Is it genetics or just being a hppy baby? (a hippy baby? no. you mean "happy baby"

So in the old days the trench coat beau-hunk guys like that would say their snarking stuff and do their perfomance art quality social interaction by spray painting dump stuff on the walls and making snarking statmetns of deadpan truth to make the umm-kaying staff go into melt down mode and then beau-hunk would sashey over to the lunch counter and get a good meal and then place it in front of starvin'marvin the abuse victim (who everyone knows, they just know) and then sit down and say 'whatcha got' and go and do heroic things with a drug addict friend, busting him out of a bad situation and forcing him to go to a rehab in the Upper Valley where you can at least be wierd and no one gives a shift (they really don't) get your freak on if you want to but keep the rooster in your barn, the laws of decency apply thorugh out all the land.

So you wonder, small things. you post a punisher picture? videio game violence? what about the violence against the 1st ammendment that the conflation of a shillpost with the whole channel? People float all their fetid-mind-operational-brain-fart hateful and divisive posts constantly and tehn say 'see this channel is bad, look what people post'

In an age of regressive hidden secret dictatorship do you even hear about it when pepole are disappeared? We can make up stories about them beingt young and dumb but good at heart and wanting a better future. But to jsut go and say 'villian' for boastful dumb stuff? Is this a kid, a boy, in need of intervention? If we can say that a video game world of violence (most of it comes from the mind-fart ploaces especially the mind-gettho that is London, anything out of London for the last 20 or 30 years, at least ,has been very rancid and horrid when it's a widescale marketting effort of the usual suspects (so stuff like 'the Young Ones' gets a pass and there is some underground stuff that doesn't suck too, the real London rowdies (really, London? maybe somewhere near by but really London?).

OK, to be more specific: the LA/London 'thought factory' of story and urge, that results in stuff like Lara Croft or Liersure Suit Larry (that was the Palo Alto people, were they a Nexium kind of thing too?) yes pepole it got wierd in the world of video games. So my point if the kid really is a brainwash victim video game player, then can we cut him some slack? He looks like just any other young tall muscular not sure-of his grown-upness kind of young man. And let's hope that whoever (and who was it that went and arrested this lad and where did they take him?

I guess maybe I could do more research. If 8ch were up and running I'd know about him and all the others. I'd be keeping a screencapped list of all of their faces, and noting the stories of their arrests and the cercumstances, and who they are and what the charge were, if anything. But 8ch is gone and the paywalls are high and wide (even the Boston Herald. No more reading Howie CArr, can you figure.)

So when all you know of somene is from stuff you see on the Internet, and they are suddenly gone, do you wonder 'what happened. Did they get 'brought in?' what would be the charges?

Sudden Plumbing

New things often solve problems. I had already bought the kit to fix my toilet but it didn't get put in till tonight. what I figured out was that I dould just reset the toilet and it would work well, when I discovered a small leak. This was a few months back (I want to even say January?) and I discovered 'the problem' of water leaking and imagined all kinds of expensive reasons that I didn't want to deal with it but I do know how to fix a toilet, and the best way is often to give in to the facts of rust and cheep hardware. The new kit needed to have one of the pieces cut. I had a hack saw and that worked.

But the cut wasn't enough. And I'd already snugged in the tank so that' is it, I just said 'ya.' and toook the hack saw and used it (blade facing up if you held it forward with your hand, so you put the part on the inside that needs to be cut. there was just enough room inside the tank so that I could make the cut and it went easily. I also needed to fuss with the length of the intake part. So there it was, the new inards of the tank. And good thing cause I got to test it right away.

So then that was all done. And I did get laundry done. And I did have to go out to the store to get some cleaning supplied. I don't like to use bleach in the bathroom that much, if ever, but this just seemed like a good day to do it giving how dirty and rusty the parts were. I needed to use the absorbant cloths (the micro fiber) and it works very well but the water was blue . . . so . . I may just thrwo them away this time.

And then I was trying to clean up a rusted part , and had broken into pieces so black hard clumps of it kept falling off and as much as I picked it up wiht the papertowels, there always seemed to be just a bit more. and I must have stepped on something, and it got caught under my shoe, because there was a couple of black spots on the floor.

I don't mind doing the necessary repairs. And this one had been planned. In lieu of doing it in the dead of winter, I did it tonight. It's almost 2. A.M.

Walmart was wierd. I got there a half hour before closing. Some woman apparently didn't think I moved out of the way for her but whatever. I told her husband or brother that I didn't think I was in their way, and that I had alreday stepped back, and I don't know why he's wanting to make it into something. I wanted to find him and say 'ya, what was that. sorry I didn't think I was in your way.' but I never saw them again.

The unplanned plumbing is finally over and I'm still all wound up from it. It's 2AM and I've got laundry ready for the dryer, but I'm rather exhausted. Removing the tank was not an easy event, the bolts were rusted, and the washers.

so what else? sorted through some stuff that I really could let go. did a very lot of study of various BASH and other command line tools, and methods of doing various aspects of images auto created through easy to use toolsets. I've also spent a lot of time brushing up on how to use sed , awk, find, grep and now xargs, which is amazing in how it speeds up things and . . . learned some very simple BASH idioms which allow xargs to take the data from a file and if you tell the system to -P some high number, and you do a wget for a very lot of files, it happens really really fast.

Wrote a script to autodownload and number thumbnails. Did profiling on that as to what works best and found that if you have a list of remote files and you want to name them with sequencial numbering as part of the name, then convert will take the file list and give you what you want and even make a single connection if it's the same server and reuse the connection. Wget is great for this too, but the naming with sequential numbering thing is the new aspect. and learning about how to load xargs from a file, and read that file from a while loop . . . pretty tricky stuff and I wrote up a lot but I could put it into an 'Why don't we BASH for a While' presentation, like I used to do, and I have it linked somewhere.

Unexpected Hydrangia

I found an Unexpected Hydrangia, the tall and awesome kind, growing in a place where I don't really want it to be. It was a 'volunteer' I was going to mow it over eventually, but then I noticed the flowers . . .

This type, if you plant it at a fringe and leave it alone, will get very tall. I have one in my yard that is 35 feet tall and it grows from an ancient trunk. Every year it produces a canopy. These plants are similar to the ones that you see laying on people's lawns. But the variety that I have are the kind that form ancient shrubs if you just let them grow.

It needs a place with a lot of water, so my yard qualifies. and it needs sun to do well, but it will survive without it. I know this because I have two (now three) and the other one is in the same line as the first and it probably formed a boundry hedge once (in the long ago) but was overshadowed by a spruce tree and had branches hanging on topof it. I cut down the branches and that other hydrangia took off! So all three are blooming now. The new one is still small, and just a few blooms.

The dangers of unexploded ego

The fame-seeker projects his own anger about himself onto someone who used to be the object of his obsession. The person does not look at himself as obsessed, but instead blames someone he doesn't even really know for his obsessive behaviors. The fame-seeker blames the object of his obsession for the problem of fame-seeker having this obsession and instead of getting mad at himself gets mad at the object of his obsession, when, in fact, they don't even know each other and have never even met.
