Finally some good weather!

How can it be good for the environment when it destroys the forest?

If they are going to do it they ought to put in some kind of requirement to be able to walk beneath it, so deer could shelter from the rain, or weeds might actually grow there due to ambient light!

There should be a limit to the density of the solar cells too, so that they don't make the world look like the outside of an space ship from fiction (the Borg Cube for example).

I recall foxes
in the early AM
after that show
where you fell
up
and were floating
in my mind when I awoke
floor of the great big station wagon he'd
stolen off his grand shiesters pharm.

"What'd he think he's saving it for?
Why'd he need to keep it all locked away,
no virture, no shame,
no hope for any game."

He went on an on so why not
pretend that you're still too stoned.

you took too much too fast and didn't have enough water,
no one cares.

There were foxes
in the field
running through wildflowers
and butterflies
floating around the farm

It's already yesterday and I know it'll be a repeat day
and another show.
But we can never have that day again.
And no foxes in the clover leaf because now
it's given over to the environment
an array solar panels that should have been installed
on the top of a building
or some other wasterland
industrial place
that had already been ruined
and wasn't a home
for foxes
foundly licking your face
after they tossed
me out of the car
rolling down that hill
last show I ever saw
kids grandfather thought it was funny later
I never went back to that farm
It was a great big blue berry bush.
It was a field of them, some
secret highway workers private
blueberry farm
for the birds and the rabbits and the
bluejays that sqaubble
run you out of your arboravollia bush 
for the couple or few weeks that they call it home
bullies of the arboretum even they
even they aren't anywhere, don't live there now, it's
a waste land
and no foxes.

It might be good for what
you think is the 'environment'
but it really sucks for the forest.

Grimiversary : 
Sultana exploded 150 years ago this month, too.
April 27, 1865
Very sad.

They were prisoners of war
who never made it home
because the riverboat companies
greed and running a boiler
that needed repair
with a boatfull of men and folks
too beaten down, emaciated,
to make sure everything was done right.

And the boiler exploded
in the middle of the night
thousands drowned
across from Memphis
it was quite a gruesome site.

And in Arkansas
They tried to do what they could do
but it was a rural region
thousands perished!

They had been prisoners
and captured
and starved
in a war that freed slaves
but brought all of these soldiers
to their watery graves
and it was not well reported
on account of all else that went on that month.
But now let's tell their story.

Oh, ye soldiers who are gone
If the boiler had been properly repaired
If they had Spent that night in Memphis?

Why didn't they just go to Memphis?

So there it is: what if the Captain of the Sultana had just pulled into Memphis? Would he have not been welcome? And they could have spent the night. But what about all the people, the thousands on the boat? What would they have done over night? Was Memphis configured for 3000 liberated Prisoners of War? Would there have been too much bad blood between the various factions? The Civil War was just recently over (the War Between the States). I don't know the history of that period in Memphis as well as it could be known. The Mississippi River, prior to April of 1865, had been a war zone. Soldiers and Militiamen waged fearsome battles. This period is well documented.
