Well, it will be Christmas. And the season of love. And all of the holiday spinster movies have been on for weeks and weeks and weeks hammering in the message of quick holiday hookup that is true love forever, a total and complete fantasy very much deridible by anyone . . . until the happy bubbala and Santa, and everyone else in their lives conspire to bring them together with their one true love. Oh the magic of Christmas. All of this with a sound track like from a tainted housewives television docu-parody (I love Marsha Cross!). OMG I am having a gossip website moment . . .

OK, so soon it's going to be Christmas. People get into a frenzy. I've got some new things to share here, and I've been putting them up slowly (if you come here you would know).

Here is how the new idiom works. I use some extra mark up, a couple of more divs, and, Whalla! Suddenly I am rocking and rolling with content that is wrapped in a div that has a display style of "none". Thus it does not get rendered by the browser! So it doesn't need to be loaded yet. And there is an image with a call back for either on-press, or on-click which will toggle that display style between inline and none. Easy. So All I need to do now is write a callback and also to initialize the img elements to attach to those callbacks (using JQuerry and JavaScript) and then I will have context toggles that work with content right within the page.

Now we must ask the question: what does the browser do with that content that is not yet displayed? Doe it try and get it anyway, anticipating that the display style can be changed at any moment? Does it just not care about what the display style says when it considers what files to actually fetch off on the Internet? My little new feature will also let me profile that aspect of things too. I guess if I want to know about my browswer I can see if, when I load the page and I've got the display style set to none, I can watch my logs and see if that file is fetched anyway. Simple.

Always in Need of edit

And what was I going to do? Link in some new images? Well they are ready. Some of them are interesting. Some of them have charisma (I'm being a salesman now. Oh, everyone can see through this malarky.)

I make images faster than I can catalog and post them. It's a factory of sorts. I have a sense of what has a good look about it, but, you know, I just make a slew of images using some transforms and I try to present them all in a very pleasing way. Maybe it is annoying for some. But now, with the content switches, the intial page will have a lot view images showing. It might look like a lot because most of what you see will be screen captures where there really were a lot there. I like the idea of it. I call them pick images. That concept also means using the image as the selctor and parcelling it up into an array of links.

Political and Media Inanity

Charlitons loose credibility like a comet that falls into the sun. The sun is the truth. The comet? just a show? a potential catclysm?

Liars can never be trusted. Every agreement that they make, all of the deals that they do, must be looked at again. People who don't follow long standing traditional law can't be trusted making treaties with foreign nations addicted to constant war (like some say parts of America are). In any case we are at a point of crisis when the people who are suppose to make sure that laws do get obeyed, the ones that matter, decide what to do to make that happen.

Hopefully the people who need to accomplish a return to the rule of law do it in a way that effects the least rippling off into the hitheroo of other people's lives. What happens in the festerbog ought to stay in the festerbog. Those of us who choose to live elsewhere don't need to know what happens in the special pool of someone. How ever it goes down I hope that they accomplish it with the least amount of fuss and fowl endevour.

It seems to me that the things that people commemorate tells you a lot about them. Also the things that could get commemorated but don't? A fifty years? A hundred years?

Some people look to gold. Other to schemes like Bitcoin. Other people just lean on the hubris with which they were inculturated to be 'rulership class'. Some look to the prowess of a naval fleet, technologies that are already over a hundred years old.

So what happens now? Now that the stars have fallen from the heavens? Now that the failure is clear and the naked truth revealed to all? How does this crisis get resolved?

In America the way that these things end is that when the term is over the person leaves the office. When the term is over the person leaves the office. When people are really bad sometimes they resign. Sometimes people resign. Maybe some people will start to resign.

Politics hath no greater fury than the health care scorned!

Just how bad is this situation? Well, if you are a Democrat you must be shaking over the wrath of the healthcare scorned
