sudden blooms
I've taken to reading Shakespeare on a quest to find the character from Shakespeare who best represents the moral issues needing to be adressed, writing in a passive tense, speaking in an abbreviated cadenze. Those dancers, they know how to pirouette. It isn't some fancy far-away move but something that the locals do so well and think good of it. The stars are on fire. A meteor is also an omen of fortunes turning for the good or the fowl. Late night the waxing crescent moon sets into the spruce trees. The first quarter moon at Spring Equinox Rides to the highest place in the sky up towards the Zennith. Many nights driving the moon be a-dancing on the frosted frozen mountains singing a song along the back moldings of the station wagon window dreams water running down the window of the car from the rain the sound of windshield wipers, that moon below those clouds and lighting the world afire, these midnight hillsides, iced over crags and cliffs, upcountry intervales with snowpack amassed all ready to melt. Put me in the chair I'm ready to work. Let's set this keyboard on fire!~ March 25, 2010
