Glen, if you take yourself too seriously you get into big trouble. Maybe you need some time to rethink, or unthink, this election cycle?

I read on another site that Glen was using some rethoric that was a little bit graphic and being ultra repetive with it and then he was visited by three angels. Actually they weren't angels, but maybe like that in character; and I don't know how many went to see him but from the story . . . that I read . . . on another site . . . that has a conspiracy-theory as world-news-view of the news (like a gossip rag of old, but for political conspiracy theories) they said that Glen did get a visit from some folks who had some things to say to him about his rethoic. And I think that is fair use of angels.

When I read about what has happened in Turkey recently, and other events in nations far away, I am not down with the whole total-conspiracy world view. While there do seem to be some rather scarey seeming people in various bungie-boss offices (in elected positions), I do not subscribe to the conspiracy theory world view of all federal employees are in on some giant minded conspiracy. If there are a million government employees, then there are a million different points of view. They do not think like a hive, and they are not all of one mind. Any one who tries to make it like that is considered to be a poor manager. (considered by who? dare you take the other side of that debate?)

And so maybe Glen will take a time out. Have a break-fast (I had also heard he'd been fasting lately, it is Lent, so that is normal). But Glen, when reason breaks down angels come knocking. In your case these were security conscious Federal Angels, loving kindness bestowed upon the world. these are front line guys (gals and of who cares what their gender is) who would, if you were in that bad place, and someone were using bad rethoric in your direction, those people, those visiting angels would . . . well I am sorry if I am turning out to be a little bit of a sychophant about those front line people. I know that makes me less authentic as a commentator if it's known that I'd be charmed and bedazzled by a front line muscle hunk kind of federal angel? If you have to ask if they are a . . . then they probably are not from that branch of the service.

As far a Wharton guys go? Could I be all angel-headed about a Wharton guy? I went to school at the same university, and I would never question the credentials of anyone who has a business degree from my Alma Matter. So that does also make me biased in one sense. But if you went to Penn you have your own ideas, each person has their own head. each has their own thoughts.

As a Christian person you need to atone for your demonic aside and understand that it is important for you to overcome your need for magical thinking. If you don't get a political person into office it ought to be like water on a duck. If it isn't, if you get too over come with feeling, you need to look at yourself, Glen, and ask why. Are you having a public nervous breakdown?

And I know that you always talk about how you are a Christian. So don't you study the most basic of Christian ideas: do good to your enemies. Wish them well.

How do you turn the other cheak? Probably by withdrawing for a while. Sounds like you have gotten to a point of mental breakdown. It might be from malnurishment on account of your lentan fast. If so, I suggest you break your fast.

Way cool! The above is starting to look a tiny bit like sheet music, which has been a long term plan of mine. Nice! The notes are too small! I'll need a new style for that, easy. By the time this is posted it should all be more correct.

above is just random, and I mean random, notes and is not a melody that I know, or any kind of song. I just pasted unicode music to see how it will look when I open the page. Kind of curious . . . "

using the styles of {position :fixed; display: block;} we can set the left and top to 0px, and then we get the effect that the musical notes appear at the top of the browser! I suppose I should have chosen position: relative, or something else. Anyway, it was kind of a startling effect, and I kindof really liked it. The bars didn't do what I wanted. And it covers over everything there, at the top of the page, so that non of the links work anymore, but it was a cool effect. I suppose the way to contain such a thing is to use the proper styles, but I did like the effect. And that, complete with the geuggification (gitter, or dapplery, dappery) that I do here, with 'callbacks' I could make some pretty pictures with unicode. Nice stuff. It needs to be contained in a div, and I let it loose on the page . . .

It was late when I did this, so I left it that way over night to remind myself to get back to it later. It's kind of necessary to make the correct style, or I screw up the page for all of the other content. CSS can be such a beach (during a rainstorm, with dangerous riptides.) But it's a happy beach if you know the secrets, and they are. That is why my site has so many demonstration programs: so that people have a baseline from which to expand and make some real art with it.
