She hung out her holiday lights
Before the blizzard.
and left them lit
during it, a joy bird.
living in the very same bush.
Before she brought in the tree
under the eve, out of the snow
the bird was inside the tree
it flew into the back door of the house
once around the living room
and then right back outside.

When he remembered Turquoise
he was somewhere near Orogrande, outside 
of the facility.
He went into the small house
which was surrounded by turqouise all around it,
as a yard stone.
they sold turquoise by the pound
not expensive.
He bought enough to last for ever.
He still has it
somewhere in a bag.
