The Right Column

Anxious Journey

best to relax.

The 'marijuana' defense is so lame . . .

out of town
with a calm
restful
lack of
purpose.

Who is it?

There is a new type of lawn mower which fuels itself with clippings.

Some poems
are crappy poems
some poems
are sappy poems

Some dreams are laughing dreams
Some dreams are flying dreams
I had a running dream
that you did just fly away.
Fly away, oh fly away, oh
Fly away, oh fly away, oh

Your meanie moon
was shining in june.
Now, you croon
too soon
flur d'lune

oh you meanine moon
was nice in June.
Singing a new tune
stayed to the dawn
in the room.

Come alive
after 9:55

Your meanie mean moon
howling
shining in the room
whistling out
an infectious tune
that no one can figure out that soon.

He's the only one that knows,
he's got the inside rows
of tune
tuning tune tune
filling the room
with a new type of
dancing zoom.

He's singing a tune.
He's singing a tune.
He whistles
and his gristle
of feeling gloom
running away
from the pain
  no body real
      is ever so vane
 he writes music
like he's working on a loom.
Such colorful fabric
he's really a maverick. poet's ouch award candidate!

Daa dubious dubage dude,
who's tripping now?
Dubious dubage dude,
who's tripping now?

I know you never read my blog
or wave when I
ride my hog.
I know you never shine as bright
when I am there
jamming your night.
I know you fly off to another place
I get locked overnight in a zoo.
It's kind of a nice place.
A little bit dark
but strange shadows
from meager light
and echos of things
unknown
happening
somewhere off in the zoo.

I knowyou never click on my links
I spend my time, and you ,know, it stinks
that links lay cold
and they don't get old
the story sold
is so bold,
so bold.

I don't know John, I
know you.
I do know John,
do you too?
I nver met John.
He doesn't like
to sing a song
he'll bang the drums
and beat real strong.

first time you
went to LA
it was a
Rainy day?
First time
in LA?

First time you
say in a room
you have a new
telle-zoom
First time
in LA?

Hey hey hey
get out
enjoy the day

 Some manic maniac
will tap you on the back
and ask you
if you play.

wicked guitar solo
      here

last night
when you went to LA
you wrote some poems
the sky was so gray
First time in LA
on a rainy room
in a steamy gloom
making new friends
And a new tele-zoom
last night
in LA

You're going to keep me
   in a tent?

Your going to
keep me
in a tent?

Are you going to
   charge me
       rent?

And so you say
I can not go away
for I might have to lay,
keep my self away.

Lay down
   lay down
 and heal

I will not flee,
that you won't see
and if I sin I will repent.

Lay Down
   lay down
  and heal.

Well now I'm back from LA
I've got just too much
too much to say

. . .

    Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord!

Why did you stop short
of a home run?
Why did you leap so fast
and jump the gun?
Why couldn't you wait
you master debate
was it something he said?
Was it something he ate?

You did you stop short
of knocking that ball
right out of the park?
Did you think the public
was waiting for you to
have more antics just on a lark?

always on a lark.
Hit that ball
right out of the park.
always on a lark
Hit that ball right out of the park.
