The Right Column

Breathless

silent stone

So tall. It was the wind that howled. Not the stone. No, wait a minute, it was that kid, with the wild hair, and he was running along the top of the cliff and howling. There really wasn't any wind at all.

It is too cold today here for my tastes. I don't like cold weather! (so what you are probably thinking).

Today it is very bright here.

Last night the full Moon came down through the window and shone on me while I showered. Awesome.

Geesh, I've flown far and away today,
       haven't I?

     Bunches of black birds hanging
around the devil's
strip out in front of the house
 picking in the frozen ground
     for grubs and worms

Sometimes the residue left in your mind from old cinema makes you feel like you've gone off on some new weird bing of mind alteration. "Really, darling?" Who talks like that? A rethorical question. They talk like that in old movies. Did people really talk like that back then or was the 'Really, darling' line supposed to be uttered by characters that are out of control and over the top? They were outragous then and they are outragous now? Well, you'd have to be a student of History to know the real answer. Charting of anceint morals is a tricky business. Everything you learn is from the now. How can we really know what they were like back in the past?

Content, often,
   and without constant
   changing
 goes wicked
    stale.

At ridge lines often, at tourist vistas, the highway department, or park department, of either Federal, State, or Local will place Sceanic Vista binoculars that the public and use (sometimes for a fee) to get a telescopic view of the surrounding countryside. The Vistas of the horizon are revealed in greater detail. This a photograph on one such device at a knoll on a ridgeline along the Mohawk Trail, Rt 2 in Massachusetts up in the mountains. © 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 APC APC

some day
      this guitar will play
   oh yay!
   some day.
   hey hey hey hey.
    some day.

Praise the Lord for his unfailing love.

Praise the Lord just because you love Him!
some kinds of content never go stale but we don't need to always have it in the same place. It's is like if you were in charge of the presentation of a town square. And you need to move some of the monumnets around. You might move them into an old carriage house that the town has and eveeryone would say to you 'where is that PTL statue that you used to have in your Amillllliaa Commons website. But you don't need to take it out every day and burn those candles here every day, do you? What about affording folks the opportunity to go buy their own or make their own candles and do their own presentation of what they find important to themselfs without constant mind meddling? But some content nver goes stale. Praise the Lord! You know Really, Darlin' is not the same as Really, Darling If I took all of the nonsense out of my sights I'd probably have to delete half of them.

I can remember the sad things today I know Gone down to put yellow flowers on the sidewalk the streets are frozen over yellow roses in a pile the streets are frozen over they've got yellow tape along the sidewalk. Family can put roses on the sidewalk everyone else stand away.
