He held a sign that said
"Zero Fed
The Fed"
I asked him what it means.
Here is what he said:
"Gee, I don't know. But it sure is catchy."
A women moves over to me and asks what I'm talking about. I'm not saying anything. Not to her. I walk away from her. She starts yelling.
I respond, finally, after she's followed me all the way over to the seals. "Why are you badgering me? What I did I do to you? Leave me alone with my ideas and my bag of snarky."
She starts beating me with a sign that says "Eat the rich." The seals are clapping from behind the glass. I rip her sign from here and throw it into Boston Harbor.
"I see how you are." she hollars. "Poluter"
I call her a "Poll looter." She doesn't catch the joke.
In later years we became fast friends. She loved me for my scruffy idealism. I loved her for her keen sense of justice. Never mind that we got off to a bad start. It only goes to show that all cleches are like dust that blows away with a blast of air from a commpression tank. She became the dark love of the Aquarium pier.
Dawn Zomm
By then it was dawn. the zombies were lurching in their spaces, the early morning mavens of the infinite jones circling those mini-vans that have been parked there waiting for their guy who's going to have the card to hold to have and he's gotta take it the part that is where you want to part with it, is any of this clear? because it's not supposed to be.
I got nothing more

Lost in Boston
There was a time back in those days of pretty sunshine that I could almost sense her dogging me with sudden curses as she realized how much she loved me. She'd regret it all later.
