Delete Function Not Implemented

How do you delete it when they found and cached it forever? All that brain spew you spewed into your blog might be misunderstood as hate for a zillion years? It was perposterous. The server could go down tomorrow. Noone has any thing left to say, anyway, so we might as well ban the Internet?? These troubling questions perpelled me to ask even more troubling ones. So I turned off the TV and my mind and went to bed early.
life has no delete feature for deeds from the past. Nor does the Internet. Life is forgiving. The Internet can be down-right mean.

Work on What has been Spoiled

I was reading through some of the Cablegate material and found a part that seemed like it would put some folks in danger if the information listed with were known by those out in the hinterlands. I say hinterlands because I am not going to tell you, dear readers, about what it was specifically that I discovered. There is a place used by a group that is doing work in a country fighting off criminals who have infested the place. And they set up shop in a secret location in a not-so-secret public insititution. No one's name was attached. However, the location was precise and specific. And the fact of it being practically a war zone, well, the location being out in the public domain is not a good thing. But there is no way for me to go into some Wiki editing page, like a Wikipedia, for the Wikileaks stuff. I can't go and redact the information. This information is a serious security breech for folks who are trying to do what is in the public interest. And, no, it doesn't involve the United State. It isn't even our people who are put in harm's way by this data. So, if anyone thinks it is cool to have these classified documents available to just anyone . . . I could prove to you how wrong you are. It is important that good people read through these documents and try to find things that are breeches and then to warn the folks who are put in danger. Now that they are out there it is now work to do . . . to read all this crap. And it is a lot of stuff! They need to stop. They need to stop now and not release anymore. Other things I found: a description of Anti-Semetic activities in Nicaraqua. The matter-of-fact description of car-bombings as a perfered method of drug cartels to deal with their enemies in a country on the Horn of Africa. Nothing else because it is wearying reading these. And, yes, I did search for the name 'Savage', and even 'Weiner' to try and find something about the UK do-not-visit list. But there was nothing. Other searches I did to find what I could find: 'murder' with many hits. 'Lennon' for John Lennon. I didn't find any. 'Jesus' becuase Jesus is so cool. Interesting reference to the place where John baptised Jesus on the Jordan River. Here is my suggestion, and I am not trying to take sides, Wiki-leak trustees, please stop. You don't even know who you might be harming. The stuff I found was a serious breech and could result in very bad things happening to folks involved, who provide what used to be a safe place. Ya, you cut out the names of folks, but not the place! Maybe you didn't actually read it before you released it? Here is my suggestion to everyone else: Read the cables. Find out what you can find out that might cause harm and then try and warn the folks who might be in harm's way. Naturally if you are a Federal Employee, don't do this because you have been directed not to do it. You could be prosecuted for violating requirements on Classified information. Really, I hope that the State Department is already doing what I suggest. Wiki-loser web site (Oh, sorry, Wikileaks) has only released a small fraction (very small) of documents. It would be best if they release no more. And all the ones that have been released ought to be deemed 'un classified' now so that prudent Federal workers can read through without worry of censure and provide warning to those who are being outted in whatever thing the cable-leak outs them in. In the case of the thiung that I found it wasn't any American, or even folks working for us. These were allies. A foreign gov was just showing our diplomat some of their on-going crime fighting activity and the diplomat was describing it. But it hurts us anyway because these folks need to be able to trust us. And now they can not. Jullian, you f-in idiot, are you listening to me? Of course not. He has his ears stuffed with cotton. These people's blood will be on your hands if you don't stop this foolishness! just trying to say it as I see it. Dec 6, 2010
