Upgrading to Fedora Core 9
turned painful.
The situation was
that there was a
video card
that the UDEV rules
would go into
palpitations
and not complete
so I could not get into X
to run anything.
It took me a few days 
to figure out 
what was wrong.

Basically I believe
that a loadable rom
was being mounted
and used is some way 
that was not correct.

OH well.
The tuner card was 
fairy useless anyway.
I already have a TV
