up at dawn
I told you I was up all night, up all night And at the dawn I saw you wondering lonely and apart in your fields of darkness. But it was at the dawn. The sun had not yet reached up enough though their were trails of pink and red in the faraway sky. I thought to call your name into the ending darkness which anaylated any dream that I'd had of you. You were far better there, warrior of the dawn, With the sword to put down the faithless doubt that I carry with me, ( that heartbreak that I've been carrying around). You are far better than I can ever imagine. So why imagine? June 17, 2010![]()
