I've tried to make my yard a perennial garden. but having read 'house of 7 gables, and seen the place, I understand about the fallow woodland, and 'moving on.' gardens only last till the gardener moves on, in what ever manner that happens. So in that sense gardens are symbolic, and to some people the types of flowers have very important meanings. All of that always fell off my radar, as if it didn't matter.
But apparently it matters to other people because you get these horrific mashups of flower scenes, done with a graphic composting system, such as blender or gimp (or the commercial rip offs). and it's strictly amateur ville with some of it. And nasty things people say 'this isn't art', and such. But is that unfair? or is it even that nasty a thing to say? You let on that you don't believe their feigned trite display of begrieved mongering for cause.
and in some way we might say 'let the world be it's garden.' and we just ignore any duty like mowing a lawn, or pruning a tree. Or we let the dead wood hang in the air, as if by magic, a place for wild birds and owls, who seem to not really be there, but then, suddenly, as if in a dream, there one is, peering in at you through the window, perched on a spruce tree, as if it's been told to go and watch you. But owls are no angels. They will grab your favorite bunny and take them for a horror ride. It can't be a fun thing to see, those little ground creatures don't have much of a chance if they get caught unawares. Government should not be like that.
And if someone says 'government shouldn't be like that, of course, and who said that it would be?' I'd loose my train of thought. Maybe I'd right it, put it back onto my mock up toy-train world view of life death, taxes, and how to spend your extra dollars on a Saturday, walking to the hobby shop.
That world ended years, no decades ago. The heavy rain on a Saturday in January in 1972 bicycling to the Child World, beelining to the box games . . . buying them and no one hardly ever playing them with me. Life isn't games. I should have known that.
But then it did get to be games. Everyone loved them. You'd spend your quarters and you'd play for as long as you didn't loose. But the games were designed to suck the quarters so you would always loose but sometimes . . . sometimes a game would have a cheat, and people would figure out how to do that. Government should not be like that.
And if someone says 'government shouldn't be like that, of course, and who said that it would be?' I'd get lost in a fog on the open ocean of ideas in my mind saying 'well of course I can't speak to the individual causes of individual people in their particular situations, leading their ordinary and yet remarkable lives either working for or not working for various organizations, entities, and global owl aficionado sprecken ze socket wrench and a tee square and a compass made of old metal that is very useful and you can configure things with it. They give a strange gesture with their face and their hands. You know nothing of what any of it means. They send you a meme that looks like someone put subliminal you want sex with me subtexts weaved within the textures. and you can't help but think it, because I put it in your head by already saying it twice, I've tricked you into thinking it? or lead you here: Government shouldn't be like that.
And so be clear, what I mean: government shouldn't be a trick. It shouldn't be a special deal for some and an arduous tyranny for others. It shouldn't be a raffle where some win and most loose. It shouldn't be a mind game where people are hounded away and self-dealing bureaucrats enrich themselves by looting student tuition dollars into their special-friend pension for the uppity uppers at the froth, that bubble as a foam, like a kind of strange l'mange from an old comedy sketch, of British Television and the ministry of hidden secret meanings in comedy and 'Dimsdale' Many people will understand what I am saying.
So truths are spread in a way where we can deny them. And we tend to not want to use words as nooses, but many people still do. And they try to incite others to say things that incite a different crowd, to cause a fight, to keep the facade of control forever freaking and peaking and giving harm and fowl where , really, everyone just wants to get along.
The world can do a lot better. The people who know what they do know what they are doing. They are responsible, and only them. they only lead themselves, though they may say that many follow. See the people skatter and scurry away from them, free from harm, as a generation of humpty dumpties says 'oh, woe is me, the Pain, oh the pain . . . Will Robinson.' in tribute to camp actors of a fallen generation who seemed to have known that they fucked up and hoped for something better for us. But who hears that message now? Or could weep for as week a character as a Dr. Smith? they go on the chans and trash anyone who has a voice, who has a wife and baby to feed. They trash them up and down and all around relentlessly and trash you if you dare say 'maybe we can forgive some of these . . . who made mistakes.'
And I'll say it again, words are not nooses. And thus, you must understand that those who use your own words to destroy you in a way that shows no mercy or forgiveness do not deserve your full attention in battle. you must pass by them and proceed to the next level of your life.
And so we find, that, yes, games are important. And it's not just what we like to play, or who we love to pass he day with, but also those games that we choose to no longer play: like the division game. Or the race bait game. Or the 'I'm smarter than you' game. and so many others.
They burned the roof off of the old church. Now it will be a lot easier to build a new one, they don't have to pretend it's some important relic. That spire is not nearly as old as other parts of the church. Spires like that are rather often found burning and many times in History that kind of thing happens. So the world can exhale and say 'Our Lady' is OK. Our Lady. And in the season of Lent some of us know who Our Lady is. Many malign her. Many Hail her!
The top of the church burned off, and that's just how it goes. and a lot of concern and worry and pledges for hundreds of millions o Euro to rebuild . . .
and from what I have heard no one was even injured in the fire. One must ask, even though Macron probably wasn't told about it, was it a controlled burn?
My conjecture is just that, I have no sauce for this one, folks.
