Due Process and Assumption of Innocence are Important Rights

Is any one who takes the 'believe woman' stand thus disqualified to sit on any jury? They seem to not believe in due process and innocent until proven guilty. This motto is confused in the sense that, yes, a councilor or a therapist must assume a person (not just a woman) is telling the truth, and do the larp of believing them, even when evidence suggests that the memories may be either tainted or the statements not factual. For courts and prosecutors, the idea of assumption of innocence must be maintained. Judges, juries, prosecutors, all should be impartial and without bias.

I think a therapist or friend should give a person the benefit of the doubt when they discuss their traumas. Juries must not!

People who chant out 'believe women' seem to ignore the presumption of innocence. Also, why isn't it 'believe victims' then that leaves us the option of deciding if the person is or is not, not to just take it on the word of a person who may just be gaming for political reasons, or for a payoff. Aren't those who denounce due process worried that they disqualify themselves from juries?

The slogan 'believe women' is at least sexist, in that it really should be made gender in-specific: believe people. But then the slogan doesn't divide, a major purpose of those who concoct these kinds of brain-dead sloganeering 'protests' of freak-show activists. These people don't even consider that their phrasing is divisive. They are fully hypnotized by the process of being with the 'kwell pepppss' and maybe free vacation island cave adventure after wards? You never know where the cult will take you. Yes, it does, it does seem to be, yes it does, seem to be a cult. It's looking more and more like a cult.

The pondering of who should and should not be believed is one of the oldest lines of conjecture that we accomplish, from the beginning, and all the stories that we hear from people. And the depravity of people who were willful and out of control and put in charge without being trained, and far too young to be responsible for people. The mean teachers who didn't care less about half the class who didn't go to her congregation or temple. The coach who only wanted the kids he already knew, and favored some over the others. The professors who graded you based upon if they liked you, were you a member of their most favored family? Or were you a threat to their cabal? The list of paranoid fears goes on and on and all that paranoia usually includes the thought 'who should I trust'.

If we rewrote literature so that the adage is made true in every case and all stories must be modified with that bit of false doctrine "trust women". Hansel and Gretel will need to be rewritten. It won't be a wicked witch, but a wicked warlock. But warlocks usually aren't that wicked, but watch out for their crazy women (A description of a trend in literature, not observation of real people)

Jingo is always imprecise. And 'trust women' has to have an implied modifier: trust some women. And even then use discernment. But to make it non sexist we have to have it be 'trust some people'. and doesn't everyone agree wiht that? but the brain-trust that is funding all of these fauxtests is looking for division. And clearly these 'protesters' are too 'into' being with the 'kewl pepole' that they don't understand that they are sabotaging themselves politically by being so dialectically inept. Yes, I get it, protesting is exciting. It must be very awesome to be around so many other warm bodies. But it's ugly. What you people are doing is very ugly. You can't even pretend to larp anymore about being equal. yo have to be rampaging and out of control, wanting to harm others who you delude oppose your political ideology. But your ideological mentors have taught your poisonous delusions, and made you take down your guard against a venomous ideology of false confederation. You are their useful idiots. And they have you on film now, being rediculous. How will you now run for city council in a fair and honest election like it's going to be from now on? you are screwing yourself, your own future political prospects by marching behind such brain dead sloganeering.

Some say don't interfere with an enemy while they are in the process of destroying themselves. These protestors are not my 'enemies' and thus I must warn them: you are being used. You are sabotaging yourselves. You are chanting slogans that are counter the idea of due process of law, and your cause is an injust one. As well your slogan is sexist. So that's it. I'm telling them they are fools.

I think that these charges from 36 years ago ought to have no bearing today in a legal sense. It was important to determine if they were true or not. But as nothing was ever filed, and no one every made a complaint, and it's been 36 years, and both of them were minors, and it would have been all put under seal if it had been brought forward 36 years ago, then, well, that's it. No one was willing to take it to where it would have had to have been brought. So, ya, but did he? And the answer seems to be 'no he did not'. Did she really get? . . . She got something. . A Quaalude girl in High School? And proud to call herself that at the time? It's all rumors, right? It is important to help victims and to investigate these issues.

AIDS made Celibacy plausible for high school boys in 1982

As far as this case, people scoff at a young man in the 80's have a celibacy jag. Look, AIDS killed a whole lot of people. The Fathers , those Jesuits, would have known all about it and some of them maybe have known or been victims of AIDS themselves. So the discussion of celibacy had a resurgence. At a Jesuit school it may have always been on the curriculum. It seems curious how in this whole discussion about sexual attitudes in the early 1980s, that the AIDS epidemic has not been mentioned. I didn't see or hear it mentioned elsewhere.

I say 'plausible'. That word is is in some sense bait, in that we who lived through those days know that once a person was 'active' and out in the city drink town places where the Quaalude girls were, that celibacy got the scoff-treatment. In that environment 'safe sex' was a very important cause. But for 15-year-olds at a Jesuit High School? I am sure that they probably got the 'celibacy' lecture a bunch of times from the fathers.

At the clubs and bars, and at the disco, in the cities where AIDS would rampage for a while, the gay activists would be in-your-face with their 'celibacy is fine for celibates, get real and always use condoms' point of view. 'Safe sex' was the slogan. Quaalude girls at the age of 15 probably weren't practicing that.

A girl that young on drugs was not a 'thing'. It was an anomaly for most. Or is that me being blind? I had eyes and saw and know. If they were that young then something was wrong with them. That was too young. Someone should have intervened with her if she really was like that. Why didn't they? Or did they?

The term 'hippy' is a lot like the term 'gamer'. It was a tag that got taken and used by disreputable media 'players' to smear a non-congruous group who could not otherwise be so tagged, and thus dehumanize and cage that group within a narrative of lies.
