The arbitration of 'content' is not quite the same as the overseeing of a web page. Idiots who post hateful things and aren't reasonable in explaining what the purpose is: like anti[anygroup]. The groups who get posted about aren't always actually as coherent as imagined by the deluded who put up crap and don't caveat it with 'these are mere conjecture concering the imagined thoughts of delusional characters as to what they might say'. I think, that as a literary device, a character who express hatreds and bigotry's in an 'effective' way (effect of it convinces in some aspects or makes us howl with laughter, because it seems true to what we, ourselves, notice from those who harbor extremity of decorum, and seek the harm of others), even though the author says that he has no connection with these points of view, I'd ask that author "why are you giving voice to that kind of demon." The websites being told to take down are known to be pro[a loathsome cause of a bygone delusional age], who espouse a lot of crap about so-called race and roles of the 'races'. It's a delusional view of history in the first place. In the second place it's actual threats against real people. Even though the delusionals of these hate-places are fully engaged in the throes of delusions, these are dangerous delusions that seem to compel these . . . content providers . . . to purvey their product for the purpose of? ? ? Monetization of hate? Or is it just 'dark humor', because as I have been stating over and over later: sometimes the expresion of degenerate ideas framed as to what the actual psychologically limited (delusional hater) person, who might just be considered to be marginal in certain forms of social intellegence, retarded in various aspects of interpersonal relationships., you make up what you think that they might say and you present it as a sardonic aside, and you get peals of laughter. But meanwhile you are still putting out the degenerate idea. I suppose what is funny is that this kind of ideological absolutism, with a supremicist hook (knife, machine gun) is so obvious to those who are aware of this kind of phenomena. Some call it Spirit or demon possession. So we could say, in one sesne, it is funny to hear the snarky commentary of asif concerning those in the throes of antisocial delusions. Yes, but it's a guilty kind of funny. The degeneracy still gets a voice. The illness is not cure. The ideologically absolutists are always alone in their delusions. But some like to gather this kind together and call it a 'movement'. The worst cases of this kind of abuse of possible clinic patients is the . . . . drum roll. I'm not letting that snark through, but it was a very funny little interpretation of events concerning a particular group of partisans. May they all go and find better teachers and read all about how who that they think might be their worst enemy is often actually their to save you. There is an interesting ancient story or two concerning such, and I'll tell you if you ask me to, of which of these I felt reminded. It involved a person who had swallowed a snake. It was a story that Rumi told. He probably heard it from somewhere else.
What is happening with these Seemingly staged production poly-beat-downs? It's like a horror comic book, but a bad one, that someone maliciously subscribed you to. You start getting it in the mail and it's not top-dog (stan, kevin, etc) material. You'd be embarrassed if you'd penned the copy. It keeps getting worse with each new installment. And you stop reading. It was too puerile, it was filthy, the characters were drawn with exaggerated shapes, and the content, it was horrible so you give it but it keeps following you areound. Suddenly everyone in the real world starts to look like these exaggerations from the comic world. The woman's breasts are like giant moons in the sky. A man's arms are the size of a locomotive steam engine. You must have been dosed with some kind of potent alkaloid or . . . .you got the VR goggles on and you forgot that you were wearing them or . . . but we are supposed to know that it's a parody, and it's a stupid automatica with the spur of word momentary thoughts of someone who seems a little bit shaken by these events, that these people could just put down the comic book and start to drink up something else? Maybe they can all learn and study Cuban dance? And then make them all choose partners from the other-side? Or dress them up and require that they go to reeducation seminars at a local soccer stadium. Have images of Chile in the 1970's playing on a screen to get their paranoia way way high . . . (this is not a suggestion for-real people but a silly plot of a bad play, I'm suggesting literary creations: a theater of absurd politics of being human, theme, for all of us to get the F over all this crap of division and stop trying to pick fights with people whom we delude to oppose.
You bring them into the stadium. You have them all dressed up in foam suits. Anyone who isn't physically able would be put to the side. They go to battle with each other with giant harmless foam bats in a jump room the size of the sky (really really tall and wide) and hovering drone pillows that always catch you (does that sound like some people's idea of what governance should do?). And make them do mock battle. Just to work out their aggression. Or have them do it in a video game in a virtual world. But don't do it for real on the street of a cobbled town.
At the end of it they call go home but remain on political probation. They can go to as many rallies, or whatever, that they want to, but they have to agree to be cool. How will the authorities know if they are 'cool'? Hey, I've devolved into a story. The characters here, if they represent those who were at the rallys on Saturday, would be cast as partly paranoid? eh? Or very embedded with malicoius intenet. So they would be fearful no matter what. There view of other competnet adults as marginal and totatlitarian belies their own paranoia.
When people get manic and dangerous and ideologically deluded . . . its better to let them vent than to try and shut them off. So shutting down a website that no one reads or goes to anyway? What good does it do except kick the hornets nest and possible violate the free speech and right of assembly (if it's a social site).
Hey, be in the real world. Most of those who oppose your politics are not archtypes of villinry. Staged Nazis with a leader who is said by some to have been recenntly a political person in the other direction? Maybe it's just a big show to see who is that unhinged to think that this kind of rethoric, that the Nazi's put out, is acceptible, when it is loathsome. The rethoic is unacceptible and loathsome but at least if it's posted we can kind of keep and eye on them. If we shut off that we might have some back channel ways that they get their poison messages out, if they are so driven to do such. The fact is it's better to let them squack and tell them to STFU when they are a menace, but do it nonviolently.
The reports from the cobbled town are that there was a mix up in crowd control and allegations of politically biased policing. In our new surveillance state it ought not be long for prosecutors to get a handle of the intent of the directors of various offices. It's sad to put the police into a political situation like that. And it's very sad if someone decided how funny and entertaining it would be to make the degenerate Nazis (that is what they may have thought) have to face a gauntlet of indignant hazing, and possible assault.
Sounds about right but just for a movie or a play. Real people shouldn't be hazed like that. Only unless you want them to do it to you. The rest of us won't put up with it as gratuitous and satisfying as it might seem, think of how it goes in the other direction? When you say 'Filthy [some group you hate]' you imply it being said about whatever group you seem to be affiliating with. Such speech, in a context of strangers at a political rally, is empowered with the very same spirit of hatred that the obvious hate group is charged with. And even though you didn't start out that way, you end up being that way too. The whole deal is a needless confrontation between two groups with ideological supremacist mythologies based upon false or incomplete histories. The level of falsity in the liberal mythologies varies from person to person, as well for the delusional of the dangerous national socialists (NAZIS). Historically National Socialists harbored ill-will and acted upon it, slaughtering millions. They were not the only ones who did that, and harbored that kind of malicious spirit of ill-will towards those outside their group. Sad to say some of that kind will delude that every moiety or family has such a twisted sidekick, and thus justify their pandering to their little young best-hope zeolets, also wanting to 'make the world' right (correct).
They become apologists for their own. They say things (Howie Carr of AM radio does this a schtick on his daily talk show, and has a vocal clip of someone saying something like this: "He's a good boy, a very good boy." He might be a cold blooded killer, but grammie still wuvs him.
Should it be any other way? But when that kind of thing also extends to all who are perceived to be of a group, if you only prosecute the crimes of political thuggery against those who you perceive as your political rivals, then clearly you are unsuited as a prosecutor. And so it seems a rather common political operation to do what the 'leaders' of Charlottesville have been alleged to have done which was to order a 'standing down'. As far as the faulty crowd control allegations? I'd say it borders on criminal human rights violations. Even though fowl Nazis are deserving of scorn and should not be held outside of ridicule, many of the people observing were not part of that group, but there for . . . . ? ? ? media purposes, I suppose. Also asault is assault. No matter what. You cold clock a Nazi in the face at a rally? Maybe you just punch an undercover operative? And what if it's a person with a very low IQ who didn't know where he was and who he was with but these are the people who take care of him? He's part of the crowd and you cold clock him becuase you imagine what his political views are? You got it coming, dude, to be so crass and mean wiht strangers who you don't even know who they are. Levae the punitive things to courts. You, on the street, you are not the judge and jury about this person. Why don't you pray that they will convert to being a lot less mean and cast out their fowl hatreds. And do that for yourself, too. Because if you mirror that which you loath, you are being that.
