Become Untriggerable
. Now that is a tall order. That would be hard, or maybe impossible. But 'become less triggerable' sounds mamby pamby. mamby pamby? What does that even mean?
I'm thinking funny snarky one liners. Life mantra: don't be a . . . in the voice of Charlie Sheen. But Charlie is opposed to Donald so he's off in rant land himself. Fine for him. He's got his own problems and I'm on his side in solving the dilemas of the world, he won my heart a long long time ago by not being that thing that he says not be. Offense as it sounds, and it really is, which is why I don't use it, the sucinctness of it . . . as a life plan. Sadly, unfortunately, we all fail at one thing or another. But . . . theer is great hope for the world when I tell you a secret thing. It's a secret becase it's all about you and your deepest and hardest fears from when you were a teenager.
Oh, if you are still a teenager, then maybe you are still deep down inside your own dark forest of gloomy possibilities for you. When the blizzard hits . . . (when the blizzard hits) you won't want to have been venturing out into your dark forest of self-rediculousness. Let it be day light in your delusions, for a time. It's better that way. You can chart your way out of there. Take out your map and cell phone. But you don't have service down in your deep forest of dark ego, burning up drawings of demons that you said you had in your self back in the time, of that day, in that day time. But it was night time. And he had six packs of brew that he carried by locking his fingers in the plastic. They don't use that kind of thing anymore because animals would get their heads caught in them.
Back in the dark forest of fearful ego, back in the time, in the day, at night, in the time of the day which was dusk to dawn, off in the windy forests of night, a revine that you know, a revine that you do not know. A path that is lit in your mind but dark, in front of you, but you know where it is. You are off in this forest, travelling through the deepest delusions of fearful self-inflicted expectations of some unknown and akward quality. A screech owl howls, fluttering wings in the high branches. Snow tumbles out of the pines in the rill near the revine. Not quite sure how close. Secret Gorge. Old Chinese man at the comic book store had a special deal for you and it was a great deal. You've still got it in it's little baggie, two different titles. Snow on the trail. The stream, again, it's rushing, the water from the swamp is partly frozen. You could try to cross. How deep is it exactly? How far deep and down in to that mirous place would you sink? Toads in Winter? polywogs still just tiny one celled eggs in the still water. Heaven is called that, but what do toad call it? And chirping in the Spring time? What does that one word, which all the peepers use, mean? And surely it is not mean (mean or angry).
If it were Springtime. And I was back with you. And we had travelled out far into those deep dark forests at night with the sound of the peepers off in the mudswamp, up in the hardwood bog. The smell of the Springtime fresh like fog rolling between the hills and rills. Some cow got loose and wondered here. She's lain against a giant oak. She calfed there below the moon. There is joy in the woodland. Forest seems kinder now, woodland seems wise. Even the fox pauses just slowly. Looks over at the babe cow (calf), looks over at you wtih your comic book purchase. It's midnight and the evening is colder now. The rest of her herd is coming here, because she has called out to them, and they will all come now, one by one, the most respected first, to see this new born calf and , one assumes, in whatever way steers do, congratulate the new mother.
And all the worries of the world didn't mean anything. The old moon was kind just then rising so you notice between the herding cows, along the path at the far side of the field, and the old stone wall that marks the pasture.
What were you fears? Your school bus worries? Your expectations of things that were never even actual, that couldn't ever get there because they had no substance. The fear was the biggest foe. The fear of something unsubstantiated, some imginaation of forces and powers, and portents and potentates, people with great . . . force that effects you, as if they have the power, that fearful power, over you, to make you, cast you into the pit, or to put you on the highest branch and sing you lulibyes.
The something that you fear problem, about which you worry, and which vexes you all day and haunts your dreams, is solved by realizing that there isn't anything to solve. The problem is the belief in a problme, which has no substance.
Become Untriggerable be triggered to untrigger, neigh, be free of that kind of operation. become untriggerable It's not very far from handsome luminous political visionary to the perp room. don't just be a legend in your own mind . . . keep yourself out of jail there is no virtue is rioting. There are no awards for looting. You will get a lot of attention. You will be sought, but they won't let you back on that stage till you spend some time in a cage. There is no virtue in political violence nothing useful for the future, no multi-generational urge fulfilled, or happy ancestors finally glad that something real has finally occured. the rvolution was generations ago. No need for any of that old-world nonsense here. If you need a revolution the only ones of value and, with a do-it-yourself quality: you have a revolution of heart. you expand your purpose by withdrawing from your own delusions. you work on yourself first and you stop there. Help when they need you to help. Be there to carry and bring. If you think it's only glass, glass is very expensive. Even though glass seems cheep, and common, and almost of little or no value the fact is that it is one of our most important resources, and valuble and would be very hard to replace if it were all to suddenly need to be with some alternative material. Breaking glass and windows, shattering doors, or floor to ceiling architectural panes is the sign of temper tantrum. It's not to be encouraged. there is no applause for you, if you behave as such. The logistics of glass, the billoting for all of the glass-replacement guys, the people in the office scehduleing the appointment to come and do the replacement but they can't do it for a few days. It doesn't happen all at once. They got to ship it in, it's a special fit. It might take a week or two because of back order. Ship it in, it's a special fit. How come you can't wait a day or three or 21? Shivering in the cold with the rain blowing in? At the highschool where they smashed out all the windows no body can go to glasses without wearing a coat. And crows and ravens fly through the giant hollow casements and lower classmen running for cover, one being carried away by a giant condor something he'd never seen before. and because it'd become such a great nesting place for rare birds The EPA Came there one day and declared it a Hollywood High Forest Preserve in the upper part of that giant theatre famous people going to see their kids's kids perform and everyone clapping even thourh there are not glass panes in the giant casements. They can wait another year, month, day, and amybe the person from the glass company will call them back when their special order panes finally become available You should alreayd know all of this. The logistics of getting windows replaced special order panes. There were no panes at the county jail they'd all been smashed out. So the prisoners sat and shivered. Send in the lawyers. The judge rules that the windows be replaced the lawyer say boyyettee! the custodian of the big public building had already planned to do all of that budget to come from the fund for the ??? the logistics of replacing glass? Who gets to pay and who must stay in the cold room huddled. Oh, that lawyer loved loved that young protestors so very very much that that lucky judge, handsome second pages all of their smiling pictures, that judge let the happy lawyer go and bring our little detainee extra blankets to protect him from the snowflakes tumbling in through the open casements.
