I'm not gloating. I was looking back through my notes, too weary to write new things. I've written so much that needs a good editing, that I'm just sick of doing it but . . . well it's been three days and I need to say that I hope that all of the people upset about the course of events will get back to their real lives, and start to participate in coming up with some solutions.

You will need your energy for other things. Don't waste it now on these pointless tantrums. If you have the endurance to put up with the depravation of being part of a herd, who start to act out, then maybe you could channel that in some better direction? Creative ways to battle addiction? How to make sure that children get the proper care? How to ensure that misunderstandings between people don't result in beat-downs, or other criminal behavior.

Ya, I remember when President Reagan won. We all hated him. But he did some good for the world. You might understand about Donald Trump, if you dislike him now, in 40 years.

If you believed all the worst things about Donald Trump, then you personified him as the worst case evil dictator from the past. I'm not giving evil dictators plugs at all. INstead, maybe watch some old episode of The Apprentice, and you might get to see the man who you've made into a villain as just a guy, you know, just anotyher guy. A very capible guy. But he doesn't do horrible things, and he isn't a murdorous despot, and if he did turn out that way, there are millions of us who would be against him, so fear not. The world isn't out to get you.

During his speech on Election night, President Elect Trump said we should come together as one people. Here are a few other quotes:

"We will get along with all nations willing to get along with us."

"We will deal fairly with everyone. Everyone. All people and all other nations."

Maybe something creative that Trump can do to engage the sane amoung the protestors. Let them know that we do want them to not be freaking out, and that we aren't going to be harming them, and they are part of this, so realize that everything is going to be alright.

And as for visitors from other countries, who were hoping to stay? Isn't what the Trump transition team is saying now that it would only be criminals who would have to fear deportation?

Keep your eye on it. Instead of getting all freaked out, make a case about why some people should be let to stay. Tell Mr. Trump what you think he should do, and he's given a portal for you to do it too! Link here: President Elect Trump's transtion team website

If you visit this page you can click in and find a place where you can submit your ideas to the President Elect's team. Maybe a group of you who were planing on having a Friday night out on the cold street could meet inside someplace warm instead and caucus on some issues that you can discuss, and maybe come up with some positions, and give them to the President Elect's team. I am sure they are wanting to hear from the people, which is why they put up this website. Isn't that a much better use of your time than having a cold night on the wet street which might turn into a riot?
