They hate Trump
They will say anything to 'try and stop him'. OK, so if that worked what do you do about the reported 40% of the people who are already convinced that nothing that the establishment Democrats or establishment Republicans can give us will solve our very many problems?
Even if depraved bullies succeed in the worst of their plans, how are they going to prevent the rest of us from feeling like we've been cheated? If Trump is defeated does that defeat the will of those millions of supporters? Of course not. How can political operatives stop that kind of juggarnaut? What they ought to be able to gleen is that this isn't about Trump, or Sanders, but about the overwhelming sense that we need a reform administration, one not owned and controlled by those who profiteer off of it.
People vote for Bernie thinking that is a vote against the incompetence of the corruption in charge. They vote for Donald hoping that he is less tainted than any other candidate because he is self-funded.
So if you defeat Donnie or Bernie, the people who give these two their votes will still exist and still want the corruption, in the halls of governance, to diminish.
Why do I not say that they want the corruption to cease? Well, that would be nice, but we all know that isn't going to happen. Human nature will remain as it is where each person gets there, to a moral center, at their own time. And some never actually seem to get there, but we hope and pray that they do.
But when you have a group who imagines that they some how control the process, like they have modem in the brains of the voters, and make them cede their free-will, there is no telling what kind of comicbook/video game quality villianry will leak out of the virtual world of 'oh, what a beautiful morning' governance (where the only necessary quality is full susceptibility to the agenda and the cause).
A vote for Trump isn't a vote for fascism. A vote for bernie is not a vote for Bolshevism. That stuff is last century. The two people represent the future: people who vote for them are saying 'we have had enough of the Bushes and the Clintons and all the people who slum there in their peanut galleries. You don't live in the real world, with your guaranteed job-for-life roll as an insider within the governance. You feel secure in your position of potification, up there on your throne in the studios and journalistic offices that someone else pays for. You've yummed it up and tried to claw your way to the top inside of an inverted pyramid, funded by the good will of past generations but usurped by piggishness and over-whelming indulgence of agents of governance, often unelected, and only appointed through nepotistic practices. That is how is seems t those of us who are unamused at you calling Trump a dictator or Bernie a Bolshevik. It's all a bunch of nonsense.
What it is: those of us who have not worn those rings of power, that the power brokers distributed, who aren't bought-and-paid-for, and don't expect job for life or free-its-me futures, who will never get an invite to any luminous, but perhaps naughty-place, 'conference' on a 'hunting trip' to a 'ranch' . . . we reject it, we wish you would too, but we let you practice your free will and be who you are without giving you too much grief. It's the inverted pyramid that you seek to climb: it doesn't lead you high, but it leads you low. Of course you think you are 'climbing the ladder' but meanwhile, in your comic book world view, your video-game world crafted by . . . well who does craft it? in your fantasy Walter-Mitty world you think you have a shot: it could be you just as long as you keep pulling that cart for the cause. One more hate post in a comments section, one more subhumating accusation against a rival candidate, one more slur against another race (race?). One more accusation against other religious people. One more 'guest worker' to take a job here without looking for someone who came here legally'. Just keep doing it, and you will have your free future, your free life, you guarantee until death that it's all paid for by someone else.
Of course I delude to imagine someone consciously doing what I describe above. My description is a characterization of a 'worst case' personality type: animus politicus corruptus. It's funny, in comic form, perhaps, in one sense, like Michael Savage's Political Zoo. But in another sense it's just sad and pathetic. Because people are never really as gross and vile as can be imagined. If we are just chuckling in the grave yard, why?
And so get over the hate, and past the propaganda of unscrupulous political creatures. Get past it and onto a better place where you don't curse those who vote for someone else, who you don't like.
No matter what happens tomorrow, in the election for the nomination, even if candidates leave the race, or are shamed out of it through scandal, the ones who feel that enough is enough: take your head out of the VR goggles and live in the real world. Stop living within the echo of self-serving talking-points, fully funded by someone else. Live in the real world and get away from the virtual political world.
in a healthy political environment most candidates loose
In the real world of politics sometimes your candidate looses. Sometimes you find out that your point of view isn't widely accepted. You find out that people do want change, but not your kind of change. You suffer an electoral defeat.
That doesn't take you out of the equation. It doesn't negate your importance. It doesn't make you a nobody or a fascist. So if the people who you don't support loose instead, that doesn't do that to them either. They are still present and needing good government.
The point is the quest for good government. And then we say it must be for all of the people. If it's only special category people who get the benefits, for example 'dreamers' or 'fist bumpers', then we don't really have egalitarianism, but class-ism. It doesn't matter that the favored class isn't the monied one, if we have government of favoritism then there has to be a good reason for it.
Yes they hate Trump. And they hate Bernie. But haters, get over yourselves. You don't even know these people. If I vote for either of these two, that doesn't make me evil. And your 'hate' is just a colloquial usage, it isn't real hate. I'm sure if they needed you, at that unsafe pull-over place, on the highway of life, in peril, you'd do what needed to be done. So I understand that the 'hate' that 'they' have is just political hate. It's not real hate. Let's not let it be real hate. It's just a colloquialism. It's only hyperbole. It's not real hate.

recommended reading: The Major Ordeals of the Mind, and the Countless Minor Ones by Henri Michaux; published by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1974
In the 1940's and 1950's in Paris Mr. Michaux explored the breakdown of reason and awareness as it occurs during the delusions induced through deprevation or mental break due to drug-stupper. He did all of this so that you, dear reader, don't ever have to. If you wonder about these things, please, do not do your own experiments. Instead read a book like Mr. Michaux's.

Here is today's pretty poem:
his hate was just hyperbole? that will not work in a court of law.
when angels and devils are dancing together there ain't nothing you can do about it. Who can tell which is which? why do you need to know? stop cataloging everyone long enough to join in, and have fun at the dance. I'm not saying that you have to dance, if you can't but who says that you can't? why don't I shut up? why aren't I dancing? too look a fool with you you think I'm scared as long as everyone keeps it civil on the dancefloor.
