  Mountains
    across the vast spanses
  of vermellion 
      atmosphere
     and clouds that
    run along the orange lines
      of the late 
         Adirondack dusk.

     A small ribbon of lake 
        in the valley of
          Champlain
        on which
           those mountains
             reflect
