When people complaign about the words 
you use often they don't really want to 
hear what you have to say.

Linquistic Imperialism: a polemic of always disallowing the dialects of political opposition. Every word is parsed and misinterpreted, disrespecting the natural dialect of the opposition. Instead of giving ideas they end up having to devend the words that they se. They are thus prevented from expressing freely. Meanwhile the LIguistic Imperialist does and says whatever he/she/? wants to do.

For example, the strict requirement for the use of gender nutrual pronouns is a form of Linquistic Imperialism. It is perscriptive, and not descriptive.

While it is a requirement for certain types of writing to do gender nutrality, the fussy perscribers often over do the use. And in the case of New York City there are strict and regressive fines for the improper use of pronouns for people of alternative politeness
