Obvously he can't mean 'all' 'forever' but in the mean time, for Muslims who don't have family here, and a destination, and a reason to be here that they will declare, what purpose to take the risk that they are agents of foreign havoc? If 25% support Jihad, that's a pretty high percentage. But the politcos paint Trump as 'unamerican'.
And if Muslims are coming from a Muslim place, they aren't being persecuted there for their religion. There is a spurious argument that I heard a politican make: 'the forefathers' came here because of 'religious persecution'. Fact is that the persecutors, the Puritans, followed the Pilgrims here and became major persecutors over here. And as far as 'law' and tradition goes we are, yes, against those who are religious persecutors. We aren't persecuting people who want to come by saying 'not today, not this week, maybe not at all this year because we know that 1 in 4 of you are bent on our destruction and the chuckle headed government isn't vetting you, so we've given them a severance package and now we have a government that will serve our interests over yours. So if you are our friends, you understand because you have to live with the sickness of those who are supremicists for their own ethnicities. And those of you who are supremicists? We knew you would object to this and maybe we can better see who you are, or who are colluding with you, based on how you respond to the resonible request to halt Muslim foriegners from having unfettered travel 'rights' and 'privledges' in our country. So he got a free day of press, which made Meagan Kelly all blustered. Oh oh! But Trump effectively communicated by getting everyone to discuss the concepts of borders and that our President and Congress really do have a say in who can and can not visit our nation. And that the current administration ignores that responsibility and the current rhino leadership capitulates to what the monied internationalists want from puppet governance.
