The (Str8?) Dudes in the Back

Photo shopped his . . .
see the dude in the back and he is holding
a hotdog, in a bun, that is gigantic
with the caption:
Dude (in the back) faux-dough shops his weiner.

it would be, of course, click bait.

I made a picture with a hot dog and I made the
hot dog really large. I took a photo of myself
holding the hot dog and then I pasted the giant
image of the hot dog over the one in the original
photo but it's almost too pornographic to
put here. I'm not into putting porn here.
It's a 'clean' picture, in that there is no
skin, but there is a very large weiner dangling
in the images as the featured part.
I'd show them, but they are very tasteless.
I did them well, because I thought that all the
discussion of fauw-dough shopping weiners on
TMZ needs to be parodied.
I'd email them to TMZ but . . . well
I guess on second thought they aren't really that
funny. And not very well done.
And it would just be pathetic,
like I'm begging them for a job.

Plleasssesee, Harvey, I can't deal with
head hunters. I have no luck with recruiters.
I want to sell my content but I have
no clue how to do it.
Cold call me and offer to mentor me.
I know PHP.
I could come and help you run your
software office.

So, well, you know. I've still got my . . .
well you know, I can't come up with anything.
I'm just not any good at marketting.
As I am writing this I am thinking of
doing some animation that isn't quite so lame.
Lets see. I think I know exactly how to do it.
First a div

In the div I need to place a faux-dough shoped png or gif image that is the cropped hot dog. Did I save that? I don't think I did. It was a throw away. But . . . I don't usually delete anything so let's find it. Play it Again!

Sound Craft Publishing Studio.

I've done even more mixing, and experimenting. I've also learned how to tag the tracks. It' annoying on my San Rio (an old thing) that my tracks were showing up as very many different names and different album titles. I was using a bunch of different names. Billy. Billy Perilli. William. William Perilli William A. Perilli. Willicker, Will occur, TallBill, Dude in Hiding. Wait I didn't use some of these.

In any case I've changed them all to be Bill Perilli, though maybe I should go with TallBill. I'm not planning on being a rockstar so what does it matter if I use my real name? Anyone want to tell me?

One thing that I've learned: a track is easy to craft, but 'perfection' isn't a result, ever. I always have issues with any track. And I guess it comes down to how much do I like that track? Some of my 'practice' transforms into very interesting and often hypnotic effect. And it isn't just because I do the 'faster faster faster' tricks. The reason? I was actually playing things that were in time, and in key, with a tuned instrument. That is very important. Effects can only do so much. Othertimes when the playing is choppy, and the song isn't there (old tapes, one from March 27, 1994), I just wasn't that good a guitar player back then. So the 'practice' really was. It wasn't me belting out my sorrows with my stereo cassette recorder. It was me struggling to learn the basics of how to not suck.

But a track that doesn't have too much effect on it, in the first place, and be easily played with and made into something, at least, interesting. And so, with time, I'll get better at it. I'll be better at it, and that will mean that it will be easier to do. Sometimes, it's very easy, and I have an output track that works well. Other times the track is not good and I spend time thinking 'oh, if I layer it one more time'. but if it's not catchy, or the words are lousey (yes, when you're making up stuff off the top of your head it might be embarrassing 25 years later in retrospective).

So, soon, I'll get over my Chicken nature and do a release. I'd like to get paid for the music, so that's why I'm taking my time.

Oh, and I wrote all of those novels . . . some of which don't suck. Yes, I am a content machine. None of them are on line yet, either. Good things to come. Soon, oh very soon.

how hard is it to use these new symbols in your stuff? Well, first you need to know that they exist. Second, you can just cut and paste them.

I've got a message for . . . Mr Bash (an alias for someone else). Mr Bash, if I use brace expansion with the dot-dot idiom, ie like this:

echo -e {🌃..🌅}{🌍..🌏}{🌑..🌚}" "

why does that not work when

echo -e {🌃,🌄,🌅}{🌍,🌎,🌏}{🌑,🌒,🌓,🌔,🌕,🌖,🌗,🌘,🌙,🌚}" "

will? Maybe I've not ordered the elements properly. Well that little snippit doesn't work that well but t
