Carbon accounting

How can more accounting possibly help? Counting Carbon atoms is compulsive behavior, a form of mania. The delusion of institutions trying to remain relevant. We are called 'deniers'. It's just a new form of tax code: a consumption tax, now that they have made money meaningless they need to have a way to prevent those with too much of it from burning the planet to a cinder. So why don't they just say it like that? No, they have to cast themselves as heros. Not only are they going to put in a regressive and classist tax structure based upon fetishization of counting, they are going to give themselves pats on the back for doing it. "Yes, I know, we instittuted these unilateral policies that take away the people's Liberty, but I'm a hero. See, don't I look like Commander Spock dressed so funny in my cotton smock? Do you think that their leaders mock? "

When dealing with a system of 'do as we say, not as we do' the best that many can do is to just try and stay off 'their' radar. (their radar? whose radar? you know whose radar if you think you need to stay off it).

Making Furniture

But he's just counting carbon.
He says there loosing their minds
but they just disagree with him.

Politics isn't about vanquishing.
People don't vote to be exterminated.
One person is never the king anymore.
The delusion of the institution isn't the public's delusion.
We ignore the insane edicts and hope to stay off the radar.

But what if they get ansy?
They expect some giant change,
like rolling back the ocean.
But when the ocean rolls back
there is going to a big wave
and if they don't catch it
and ride it where it takes them
they will be just tossed around in the tide
gasping for a breath
trying to remain relevant
but they've been given a low score.
Now they are put out of the competition.

But it's politics, right?
So if the people say
or if I say they said
or if I say that I know
if I say I have a mandate.
Cut those emmisions noctornally
agreeing with those who chuckle in utter silence
understanding that derision if an institution of the deluded.
President putdown
it's never his fault.
