The Left Column

Politics for Poets

What, really, did Saint Paul believe? And how would we know now after 400 generations what he really believed? Some people study what he wrote.

The fact is that Corinthians are very hard books to take too literally. But the idea that sin is bad? What do the Glad people find sinful? Should they be hushed for saying what that is?

They should not be hushed for implying that the Duck Dynasty patriarch is a 'sinner'. He will agree with them. But the way that they solve the problem by disallowing him from the public discourse: fascism.

The new gallery pages are linked in now. You will see our new cursor, a plus sign if the thing can be opened and a - sign if it can be closed, with brackets around it to make it a little bit more obvious about what the click will do. Utilizing this idiom should significantly speed the page loads.

Very cool to see how easy things can be here in the future. Marching forward with individual focused effort!

well . . .

I think I've blogged enough today.

"I'm all blogged out."

Content quickly gets stale, wicked, so it is always updated. Some content is hit with updates more often. Also: some of the content here is of a much higher quality than other content here. So if you don't like something: hey dude, whatever.

~ OK Now.

They say we are 'silent'. What should we do? We have noticed the devolution. Do we put ourselves at risk by talking down the cause of the psychopaths? Would anything we do be heroic? These forces, they've been set in place, and those who do the marching . . . are often not bad guys.

Praise God!

The toggle switches work great. Unfortunately they do not help to speed up the page load, which is what I need. And thus, as a way to just move forward, I must now abandon them by leaving them as a tool for future use. Style will be left as is and a new style shall arise! See the birth of the second ami_context_switch class, ami_context_switch_002.

Please note: the context toggles are still in development if they don't work quite yet all you need to do is go into the div with firebug and change the inline style "display" property from "none" to "inline"

these things are not monumentous in and of themselves, but the little-bit, just a little-bit at a time, Lord! philosophy is what we aim for here at The Urge Central!

It gets left out

The following poem is fresh, whipped up, off the cuff.

 Blunt truth that
