The Left Column

Politics for Poets

In Search of

Deep Waters

Everyone, a deep pool of soul, imagines every other deep pool. We can't ever really swim all the way deep and down in it. The camera pointing upward? Bubbles rising to the surface animate the scene? Life isn't just a cinematacgraphic montage of a Fellini-esc imagining. See the outlines of sharks? A rocket launched to the highest heavens looks a lot, visually, like sand sharks filmed from above deep below in the intense midday of the Equator. Somewhere off in the world. Probably Venezuela, that's a little bit north of the Equator.

If you have to leave and never go home because things got to hot for you, where would you go? Would anyone let these travelors into their houses to stay and live? Come stay! They'd say come stay! Sorry that it's too hot there for you now.

The story gets burried. Everyone is afraid of it. It's radioactive.

If today is your birthday it is 11-12-13, November 12th Twenty-thirteen. My friends baby wasn't breeched anymore on Thursday . . . so maybe today is here birthday because they sent the mother home to wait till the baby is ready.

well . . .

I think I've blogged enough today.

"I'm all blogged out."

Content quickly gets stale, wicked, so it is always updated. Some content is hit with updates more often. Also: some of the content here is of a much higher quality than other content here. So if you don't like something: hey dude, whatever.

~ OK Now.

They say we are 'silent'. What should we do? We have noticed the devolution. Do we put ourselves at risk by talking down the cause of the psychopaths? Would anything we do be heroic? These forces, they've been set in place, and those who do the marching . . . are often not bad guys.

Praise God!

The following poem is fresh, whipped up, off the cuff.

  Motion Forward.
      robot home.
 robot in the cradle
  robot ready at home
 robot refurbish
 robot home.

  Motion Forward
 robot in the cradle
     robot ready at the boat
     robot ready in the cradle
robot ready in the transition cart
   protocol reboot.
wrapped it in Lumin Naum's foil
    shunted the signal
  attenuation
    attenuate
      attenuate
  and reattenuate
he ran a recording of ten thousand voices.

he ran a recording of ten thousand songs
each of them singing in the far off over there's
  of some other place a
     great big mix like a
thousand songs playing all at once,
     ten thousand people singing along
changing the words so no one knows whose
     talking to who it's all
   about the song
     singing and listening
       carrying on
wrapping the world, at least those antenna
     in alluminaum foil
  growing a flower
    in low grade soil
  wrapping the cloud
    in Lumin Naum's foil
     Mazzaltav!
they've called in a Moil; lol
foal? mole? clean up in the washing bowl?
       claim to have a goal?

 lol in a poem
what the hell does this poet think
   he's doing telling everyone
how to defeat the street and greet.

Do you are you afraid you'd be
      paid in dread?
  paid in dread?
do you are you afraid that you
     were never wed
   nava wed?
    giving dead
       the resepct she said
   you lead her
you said you'd go with her
all the way to the top
as if tops of things are the best of them
  how tall are your dreams?
    did she tell you she
    never loved any other . . . but . . .

     the film reaal ends
   this movie has ended
 no one will know today
     how the authors finish
  this story of heartbreak
make sure to come back next week
    bring more nickels
and pay to see the next part
which will end still without you
      ever knowing
  if young love is true
if there is anything anyone can do
to make the dreams of you
     you and your beau
 be dreams that everybody know

   Oh Montreal
     in the Spring
   when the slush is gone
    and your smile
 the river shimers
 your eyes fixed on mine
      Oh Montreal!

  Praise God!
