Lou Reed passed last weekend. Here is a very cool story about how the Velvet Revolution took its name from The Velvet Underground.

How about an exceptionally hot 1974 Paris video, live, of Sweet Jane? This track represents a forest fire of sound, a controlled on-stage conflagration of chords not banging, though some might think that if they aren't listening, but tolling. The band plays effortlessly like they are just tolling bells! Amazing sound.

I think I've blogged enough today.

"I'm all blogged out."

Content quickly gets stale, wicked, so it is always updated. Some content is hit with updates more often. Also: some of the content here is of a much higher quality than other content here. So if you don't like something: hey dude, whatever.

~ OK Now.

They say we are 'silent'. What should we do? We have noticed the devolution. Do we put ourselves at risk by talking down the cause of the psychopaths? Would anything we do be heroic? These forces, they've been set in place, and those who do the marching . . . are often not bad guys.

Praise God!

It gets left out
and no one takes it.      

The following poem is fresh, whipped up, off the cuff.

  

     no words today
       not today
       today

     if it rained words
   the flood could fill up 
         the parking lot below 
            the appartment building
             with bad drainage.

     He wrote a song about
      how beer cans eddied
        around his leather couch.
         And to the crack 
          at the bottom of the door 
           the cans were pulled up to
            when the flood waters withdrew.

      no words today
         just constant rain
             just a flood

       just a flood

       They moved out 
   and never moved back in.
