Politics for Poets

Ask the

tough questions

I wrote this whole piece about the war memorials. But I don't have time to polish it. So maybe I'll post it later. Basic point: War Memorials should never be 'closed'. They, in fact, always continue to be memorials no matter how much people try to use them as political props.

well . . .

I think I've blogged enough today.

"I'm all blogged out."

Content quickly gets stale, wicked, so it is always updated. Some content is hit with updates more often. Also: some of the content here is of a much higher quality than other content here. So if you don't like something: hey dude, whatever.

~ OK Now.

They say we are 'silent'. What should we do? We have noticed the devolution. Do we put ourselves at risk by talking down the cause of the psychopaths? Would anything we do be heroic? These forces, they've been set in place, and those who do the marching . . . are often not bad guys.

Praise God!

It gets left out
and no one takes it.

The following poem is fresh, whipped up, off the cuff.

 june 3, 2013
 a song

You know what came before.
Yumming it up.
oh ya . . ?
Ya.

   Ya

      Ya
    Ya
      Ya
          Ya.

Yumming it up.
Yumming it up
on the river of life.
River flows on down.
Flood your love on down.
River floods down the light.
 flood-light in the dark night.
 What was feared before
  now gives no fright.

 Yumming it up
 on the river of life.
 say goodbye to heart ache
  say goodbye to strife.

 yumming it up
 yumming it up
 on the River of Life
   cut right through your fallacies
with a sharp edge sword or knife

 yumming it up
  yumming it up
let the river of love flood down
how could anyone here be angry or
           scowl or make a frown?

  Praise God!
