Politics for Poets

commmitted to excellence?

Shhhh! I'm not being mean when I make fun of her because she is so mean in her way of thinking about how successful people make their way forward in the real world of walking around, doing things, making things happen. In the real world where things get done. I did this. You did that. What did she do? No one is supposed to ask that becaue that is considered judgemental. And it is. Really harsh and judgemental. So we let her step back into her room and whittle away the years making hard steel mockups of the human soul and calling it a theory of Economic Liberty for some imagine genis. But she's put you outside of the genome. You've been depricated because you had too much success. She's never had any of it without it being the product of something that maybe she, even she, dottering there behind the giant Bre-d-n-pulpit Head (from glover), that she really is a nice person. (no doubt) But she is so afraid and too quick to condemn people based upon lewd stereotypes about wealth that really should have been deprecated at the fall of monarchies many centuries ago. Respect for the heritage of people. Respect for not just the Devine Rights of Kings, but the Devine Rights of Man. And of course Women are included in this. The truth of this can be spoken in any dialect and does not need to be linguistically filtered into feminist-political-lingo even if it is sanctioned by Ivy Leugue English departments. They ought to be describing the way that effective people actually use language instead of trying to perscribe textual dialects that do not improve the quality of the written or spoken discourse but demand that we go off on a scree about the excellence of equality and the purpose of not using speach as a way to be pejorative or to set up categories of value based upon race and gender. If it is hateful or sexest then please do call me out on it. If you don't like me having to connipt my language to conform to the so-called modern usage . . . I just don't care. If you don't like what you are reading then do you use my lack of use in that dialect of political english that I do not like to use.

If you don't like the smell of cooking steak then why get a job in the kitchen? Ah, the veggy cafe!

 Loosing his grip on
those things to which he'd held on too tightly
 he makes a controlled descent
    back to reason
     escaping lamantations
        and judges
     of sad sap pronouncement of
things that everyone had gotten wrong
     in the first place.

He stood up quickly, stowed away quickly the
slide suit that he'd used to escape from it all
(up there at the war in the clouds)
and sauntered off to the ski-lodge buffet
and all you can pay lunch counter
           (at Snickketty Ridge (TM))

 Oh how nice
    the water sparkles
   when you see it
  from so far away
     up high
  on the mountain top
     in the sky
    in the sky
     in the sky
     in the sky.

Wake up!

Sometimes if I'm up all night I hear the sounds just before the dawn of the wind rising that cloud of intellegence arriving to greet the day with the joy that is everyday with You. Or I'll just wake up and he'll be there, just arriving with the dawn and he love You too. I don't know him that well. He is always just breezing through think I've heard him call your name but then I'm not sure if he was calling you. At 1 AM it was still in the garden the night blossoms hung there without worry of the gale. At the dawn The Sun is there suddenly with the one ray kissing the morning blooms spring open like sudden tunes of a pop song they always play when you motor that bay craft out past the jetty
