  OK, Cardinals message having
been given I want to make a
recommendation to all of you
who are having great difficulties
in your lives:  do you take the time
to make yourself rest?
  The idea of forcing meditation
seems to go against the concept of
what meditation is trying to do for
you.  You meditate to get a quiet 
place.  Force implies noise and
coersion.  Force seems, in some
sense, to be non-meditative.
  We have a word for sin.  So what
is the word for the opposite?  Holy
act?  And then some one might see
that as self-righteous.  I suppose
the question of 'who  cares whatt
someone sees it as' makes us justt
go forward.  Damn the neighsayers.
But what if our pius act is not
all that we thoguht it was cracked up
to be . . . using idioms when the
ideas are fuzzy.  So there may perhaps
not be a word for the opposite of
sin.  Perhaps there is not opposite
of sin.  
  But the 'not doing' is recommended.  
There is a sense of there being no
opposite to sin.  And thus we have no
way to act that negates future sin.
We don't get to build up anti-sin points
that allow us a greater sin in
the future.  As a matter of fact the
higher our understanding (assume height
as a metaphor representing . . . )
the more that our indescresion costs us.
fortune gives us forgiveness to
smooth it all over.  Love conquors doubt,
dawns it's light into our darkened worlds.

     The blah
 of the blah
   makes me weary
  that it all never ends
and no one is going to fill those cracks
 cold air seeping in, no escape from the cold.

   But pulling over covers
 and sleeping more hours
    makes hubby handsome again
    the baby crying sounds like angels singing
  there are winter birds
    pressed up against the window glass
   trying to stay warm
     and they sing
      arias with their every  squack
