I have crafted a pluperfect Square out of CSS and HTML. This can be the basis for a new design for a Gallery. The particular layout of the square, itself, can be altered so that the lay out will not represent a pluperfect Square. I will use the same techniques and methodologies to layout my new galleries into a named div.

The parts of this.

1. images

The images are not just files, but the concept of scaled or morphed versions of those files. The images exist, yes, as a URL. But also can be created as a new scaled image (for efficiency) or a morphed image (for special effect).

2. image list

The image list is all of the images that exist within the gallery. All of these do not have to be displayed at once. The image list also exists in another form, as the actual markup that gets sent out to the browser. The form of this is important in that it is a public list.

3. layout location of the image

The layout of the images is defined in a non-public way at the server. But at the client-side (at the browser) the layout is defined by CSS that places the images, which are labeled with a name and a class and specifically addressed for each item. Each image has a unique style that is only associated with that image. That

The beauty of the above design is that the layout as a static entity is the first step to the layout as an animated entity. The design so thoroughly decouples the layout from the animation that one does not need to even consider that these laid out images could so easily be transformed into animated bouncey-controls (TM).
