Poem Shards

My Dog
        too
  "That you would slight me my fears of
      falling down this mountain cause of a rockslide
    that I'm making up, ya, I'm making it up but
         it could happen"

  That was enough for Derrick and Dave.
       So D and D went off in their off-road rig
    to a place where Snarkatood couldn't follow.

  "I told her it was my dog too." was
      the last thing they heard Snarkatood say.
    And then they read it in the paper
        mauled by his girl friend's Pit.
