20 March, 2013. Here is an extension of Very Many Hearts

This demo simulates laying stamps on a table. There are really only 22 stamps, but I put the same images in over and over. Then I randomize their placement.

I had put a placement randomization function into a document ready function. After that it was clear to me that the page is still not finished because the min-width style ought to be set on the containing div (the one with the oak table image). So I did that. And then I tweaked the size of the stamps so that they would be a tad bit larger.

So I made the table feature a fixed size. That way the 'stamps images, all being the same sizee, will all render at the same size. There are images of 22 different stamps (each of these stamps can be purchased, or the images can be licensed, this whole demo can be licensed if you need something like this for your marketing needs.

Oh, please not so silly to mistake bad English translation. so sorrry about that. when I say table I don't mean table entity. I mean actual wooden table. In the case of the stamp pile the page is looking down on a 'table' filled with 'stamps'. As a toy this is a fun program. It needs a lot more work before it can become a better model for sorting, laying out, or purchasing stamps or other paper items. Why? Because I paid no attention to actual sizings of items. If these are simulated product, they need to match in size the way the real things do in the real world. The html entities of the stamp pile hear model real stamps. OK, well, I have duplicates and we can't do that in the real world. But in the HTML world we can. So, and thus we have it. Perfect fun for wasting many snowy hours.

Please proceed to the next demo: Big Picture tamed.
