Mysticism
The inscense burns for
you Ted tonight on the
mantle over the fireplace
that lays unlit.
the midnight moon is new
so it does not light this
late time hour.
When morning with the sun
you have passed beyond
how many keys of Bardo?
I never read the Tibet
book but had a copy
of the Eygptian one.
that generation of
Catholics were burried
in Forest Hills.
Some folks built big
statues that are still
in those spooky fields.
If icons built are then
removed to make a
better future
does it disrespect
the artist
to take his work
away?
If I hate the
work I can love
the artist.
If you don't
get
Picasso then
please don't
tell me he sucks.
Ted you were
Picasso
in what you do
in this life here.
And now you pass
to where the sky
meets our fantasies
of you.
You didn't just pose
and talk but effected
posative outcome for
all involved.
Negotiate a better
deal and share what
is fair.
So how will history
see you?
It matters not to
me because
I know
you
have a heart
that is true.

The Right Column Season of Wither
I took you along
on my walk to my
place
by the
lake.
Why did you have to
destroy all the
stones on the
beach
looking for
fossils?
That day, an ancient
memory is ossified
and tossed aside.
On which beach
at some future time
will they find it
as a fossil?
Do you even
remember
that
day?
