My name is bill and I type a lot of things.
Does anyone read these things that I type?
If I provide an entity editor will it be a useful tool?
How will such a tool work?
It ought to allow for the tagging of styles.
It ought to allow for the insertion 
of images and links.  There needs to
be a list of images available
for insertion into the body of the text.
As well a list of links also will exist.
Each of these can be inserted at any time.
Each inserted item could have 
it's own div to allow
for easy styling of the page 
and easy layout and font choosing.

What we see here is a preliminary page.
There is no bordering around the 
various comments.  
There is no time tag showing.
I have not yet gotten the time tagging
feature to work yet.

It would also be nice if each entered comment
could then, afterwards, be reedited.

And in that way we could fix mistakes.
There could be a button to the side that
one clicks and then one is presented
with a text window like the one that I 
am typing into right now.

I would like to also be able to modify the
fonts that show up not just in 
the published text but also in the text 
edit window

In one case I want the notes to be a page that is formated for the purposes of being information to read, ie this posting. In another case I would like the text to be preformated. And so I need two separate type of posting buttons, like the Enter Notes and the Enter Notes Table buttons. Also a post that is allowed for a logged in person: htmlentities is not called and what is posted can have tags in it.

notes table? What about the preformated verse the non pre?

random color for all posts? The randomization would need to not provide unviewable colors.

How do I make it even easier?

    I like one of them better
       than the other
       but both work for
         what they do.

    and take the various parts
     and allow for modification of
     those parts
  so that there can be new things
        that interest and inform
      the reader
     and making

    there was rest
     and in that rest
       the whole world got concieved

   After the page
    we went for a beer
  happy for all the improvements of
      interface making it even easier to 
     post these happy posts
   forever

The question:  do you have the right

OK, so here is a new post.

Essentially this page shows all of
the entities in a file
And from that I am able to pull the 
attributes from the saved content that
tells the user who posted and what
time for the post.

On the right side I have 
a box where I want to put the edit controls
For now I am merely showing the attributes
of the node.

I need a way to tag these elements 
so that they are delimited and then when I want to edit 
I will be able to tell which
one I am wanting to edit.  That is what
I need to do.

My interface designing marches

It is working out pretty well.
I have a very clear goals for
this effort and it seems
within my reach.

So what then has delayed me
all these years of fears

is working great.  And I now need a way to
group the various postings and publish them as 
their own article.

feature when it is no a page, I like

The post will be a picture.  
A picture can have a title.
All of this is to allow for the presentation
of whatever poem or
story or article or
serialized column that one would
want to  create.

You type in to the machine and create content
just like that.  Easy, I tell you.

So what is next?  This is the editor page.  
The regular display of the page when we
are not logged in ought to
look a little bit different.

Next to present the time in a better
format that the

Well, I learned all about how to use
the date function.  I like having the
day spelled out. But to keep 
things on one line I am abbriviating the 
date.

version and a plain version.
The edit version is utilizing the
xml features of DOMDocument to give
me access to the attribute data
of the various saved div elements.

after being wrapped in table cells.
For each row of the table there are
two cells, one that will be for the
entity editor and the right one will be
the entity itself, wrapped up in a label
that shows you the post time currently
but could be customized or even toggled
off.  That is the plan anyway.

Each of the various edit boxes will allow
for editing of that element.
The boxes will allow the element to be
moved up or down on the page.
Do I want to document all of this activity?  Do we keep the original posts
and source
control this so that every change is
logged?
That is not what I am wanting.

Currently this presents itself as a 
post area.  It allows users to add 
content.  There is no reediting now.

The more advanced features that I want will
allow for the creation of columns and
articles (newspaper columns, not table columns).
The grouping of content and then the
'publish' will take all of the
various nodes that are in the group and
creating another file that is an
aggrigate of the selected content.

And from that we will be able to create
very detailed web pages.  

Currently I can enter in text content in the
form of a paragraph or a 'poem'.
That allows me to create what is currently
appearing upon your screen (if you are
reading this).  Soon I will also allow
the addition of photographs.

After that the grouping will come into
this.
After that the republishing of the content.
And once republished the content
can then be posted as one page of a 
serialized content column.
